Fire shield? for pure str bower ryt?

Hi! I'm new here and my character is a pure str bower and I'm confused! 
if I'm going to add Fire shield on my skills.. Need your opinion!!

It gives immunity to statusses like burn/freeze etc. You only need a shield to cast it and then you can switch back to your bow so yes, max it all the way.

for pvp bower this is a very important skill
it will stop statusses and prevent you from being kb'ed or kd'ed
if you dont plan on pvping for a while dont worry about it

max it, highest it gets is -78% duration of all status effects (lvl 68 fire shield emperor)
just need 2x 20% decrease for a status on your acc. to get immune.
that way:
elctr./freeze/poison/fire/zombie immune

Yea you dont necessarily need 2 x 20%, you need just one 20% and 3% decrease and your immune.
