hi, i wanted to know which hybrid int bow build wud b good for PvE and PvP.

i was thinkin 7-1 (to clarify 7 points of int for 1 point of strength) or 8-1. which do u think is better or are there any other hybrid int bow build that wud b better. Thx

Im not sure how the build is, but 85% mag balance seemed quite good for me on my hybrid

when u say u dont know how the build is do u mean u dont know if its good for pvp and pve or u dont know wat ratio of int to strength points u have?

I dont know what ratio it is. But in PvE i kindy have to say i slaughter, with my bow skills and my nukes. In PvP the only thing i kindy did was 1 shot people, i never really got the experience from pot fighting. Consider i was only level 52.

Completelty agree with this. rttried full int and sucked, I'm going with 85%mag balance now and I like it

Pure STR (or STR hybrid) is better then any hybrid INT bower...

I have to agree on that, but this thread isnt about that. He is simply just asking for witch hybrid int build we think is best

I was 90% hybrid (about 23 str added) before I started to add more strength to survive a bit better...going for 85%, which at this cap'll be about 51 str added in total.

PvP thing ... I'm underfarmed a bit, but I have my kb and stun ....I've no probs tanking / killing other int builds and some str builds, granted they're around the same level...

only builds I have some problems with are bladers (only in killing, not tanking 'em ..lol) and warrior / clerics (smart ones at least)

thx for the responses guys. do u guys feel str hybrid or int hybrid bow is better? i wanna b able to grind fast and do pretty good at pvp and jobbing.

I'm sorry to say I don't think you can do all of those things amazingly with one char. Full str will be great for pvp and jobbing, but slow at grinding. int hybrid will be amazing at grinding and ok at pvp (depending on how hybrid) but not amazing, so you have to choose what you want more.

Str hybrid I'd say...

It's kind of a trade in, trade out type of thing when considering the build types (sense of str or int) ...ints have easier time grinding than strs, but have more of a challenge to be at the top of the pvp spectrum, same sense for strs, but the other way around.

Chinese ints are, what some say as being, snow shield dependent (granted they're not full sun against non-sun users). Archers are the fastest str based grinders on the chinese side (bladers 'n glaivers being the others) 'n you won't really need snow shield to live through hits from other players, nice when jobbing when rogues or wiz pop out of nowhere.

wat i meant is that id like to b a better grinder than pvp'er but i dont want it to b 2 extremes like a really good grinder but horrible pvper, grinding fast is more of a priority but i dont want a build that will fail 99% of the time at pvp. not sure if that helped otu at all.

Going with either's fine, though int hybrid'll grind faster (dmg is higher).

neither'll fail 99% of the time in pvp, granted you use your head. ^ ^

Of course it's my own opinion lol, I don't mean to say INT hybrids are shit, just saying I prefer STR when it comes to bowers... the grinding will go a bit slower, but the build will be better PvP wise.

I think you should try either a 1:5 or a 1:7 INT hybrid...

Well, its up to you really, one goes for more damage, the other for a bit more HP (while still having some nice damage). Your choice entirelly
