Warlock / cleric if you want to pvp with the char.
Warlock / bard if it's only for grinding.

I would personally go cleric , even with grinding , since you have a shield you alrdy gain a nice def bonus..So u could tank some mobs , but with cleric as sub , you will surely tank them without being afraid to die from pty giant or something..
But if you don't want to pvp at all , you might choose bard for noise & speed.. Altho i still would prefer cleric even for pve..
But that's up to you..
go Cleric:you get nice def buffs and healing
go Bard: you wont get attacked by normal mobs if noise is active+ speed

so choose what you prefer

as neat as the bard subclass may be, it is a bit of a waste of a subclass.
it brings you... moving speed and Noise (you dont get attacked by mobs except giants and champions)

of course that's useful... but worth a full subclass? no no no i dont think so

it may be sensible if you plan to solo all the time
that's about it

besides, as warlock it doesnt complement well
you can stun mobs that aggro you... taking away part of the usefulness of Noise

as for moving speed lol... there are so many bard subclasses around that a pt without it would be rare

warlock cleric is interesting in that warlock is already s super-tough INT class, it's hard to die as a warlock because of the vampire nukes, the stuns and the shield.

add to that the cleric subclass whoah you can tank anything, AND do good dmg.
impressive.

the "flaw" might be that you'll be very much tempted to raise the healing and other party skills, a move which would turn your cleric subclass into a full second class making your build a huge sp-sucker.
