Hiho SRF-Members,

at this moment im a Lv64 Gap9 Full Int Spear Nuker (Heuksal/Cold/Lightning), i have heard that a Pure Int Bower is much better than a Spearnuker. Is it true? Should i change my Mastery? I dont know.

pure int bow excells in grinding because of the range.

but compared to spear, it lacks HP.

so

grinding
pure int bow > pure int spear

pvp
pure int bow < pure int spear

Go for pure int bow

i say spear ,i like pvp more ,and i like spear skills ,so it depends on ur taste xD

Bow is better than spear because of:
-You don't have to level nukes if you don't want to. You get range with weapon skills only.
-Crits. Those should do more damage than a nuke
-You will be a little more unique

Spear is better because:
-HP
-Ghost spear - best finisher skill imo
-More AoE
-15sec mag. defense buff

when you think about it, pure int bow sounds better (on paper). You got the range which really helps. You got stun and higher kb %. You also have high attack rating to help you do max dmg. Put a pure str bow will shred a pure int bow to pieces probably.

no such thing pure int s/s can defeat a pure str blader, same for spear vs glavie(ofc it can go the other way too)

Snow shield makes a BIG difference in any 1v1 fight, and pure str bowers are a little too dependent on crits(not counting force debuffs) to make up for the relatively low dps
(while int or hybrid int bow has high dps from 1st hit, including arrow combo)

tho 2h warrior or glavier with 3 crits in a row is practically a KO

OT: i pvp pure int spear guys my lvl with my char (hybrid int bow) and i win about 90% of my pvps...

1st reason: knockback + cold imbue '(most go light+ice= not immune)
2nd reason: ice wall fends off knockbacks so you can constantly let attacks rain down

i can survive most fights against ints without snow shield, but as soon as they get lucky with a stun, it gets dangerous

mhhh Pure Int Bow sound good...

What about the Build?
Pacheon/Light/Fire or Pacheon/Light/Cold??

i would say cold .

Cold/Light/Pacheon.

Without s/s, you're a glass cannon.

I think i stay on my Spear Build...

So my second question: Still pure int or should i go 9:1 Hybrid?

for pvp 9:1 hybrid is probably better

protip: you use a HP pot after each hit you take. Grind at shamans/mages instead.

Bow ...but don;t go pure int
put some str too ...i sugest 70:70 whit 100 pacheon/100 ice/68 light and 32 fire
ice imbue
or 70:70 whit 100 pacheon/100 light/100 ice ( if u have sp )
now i can get 2 imbues ...light imbue is very good for grind

I also suggest going hybrid (That's what I'm doing), but I prefer a 85% mag balance naked build. It's doing great for me.

i dont know why people starting making int bowers, especially pure int. theyre horrible in pvp and dont do any significant damage with their nukes. their bow skills aren't weak but they are easy to tank. add on the factor that the crits which bowers rely on dont do much with pure int and youve got a DUMB BUILD

you made it sound like int bowers are the new full str nukers

well their nukes are weak and their normal atacks arent strong enough to kill on their on. so a crit could come in real handy, they dont have one!

Int bowers' bow skills do about as much damage as a nuke, have better range and can crit. Hurr.
