so, as a bower how often do you use KB in pve/e? i pvpd a archer the other day and he used KB for every 2nd skill, real annoying. i suppose i should use it when i have around 30-40%% hp left to pot up a bit

ill usually go strong -> anti -> anti -> KB -> explosion. -> KB

i usually adapt to who im pvping. for example if ur opponent is a KD whore then u wanna KB alot to create distance to pull off ur crits. and yea ur right u could use it so u have time to pot up.

typically ill kb kb / wall / kb kb and then work the skills from there. only really use kb when im gonna get hit with something hard. i also like having distance, so i push everyone off me. do NOT like getting hit by maddening or w.e it is that the warriors do...

well i play on ecsro, so no euros. i dont really need to protect against strong skills, except sse, the stun on that is 37% but it casts almost instantly anyway, not that it matters because at my lvl glaivers dont have it yet.

i thought it would be a good idea to use KB then fire/ice wall (i got both) then KB once more and use some 350% skills, followed by anti devils.

can anyone answer if KB is usefull in pve? i dont suppose it deals great damage but maybe it can be useful against giants? however as a (mostly) str character i dont see myself needing it to help against giants.

one last thing, atm im 71 on my archer and pvp is great. have potwars against glaivers and bladers tho, just wanted to ask for some pvp techniques against them to beat them. glaivers are annoying on ecsro because AFAIK the soul spear series has higher stun + they have KB. bladers i especially hate beacuse of block + KD. so how can i beat them? usually they just end up in potwars, they definitely cant kill me with 1.7k dmg (lol @ this blader yesterday) and i just cant get enough hits in to deal lots of damage. the constant KD + KB + Stun + Block is getting real annoying. im guessing KB should really help there, get some distance before they can use their skills.

kb + wall = your almost dam invincible if you have good gear. If you don't want to get kd, cast fire wall against bladers. They can't knock you down and they don't have stun like glaivers. So they will get farked. Just kb, hit, kb hit, if wall goes down, kb and cast wall asap. than kb and start attacking again. They'll die pretty dam quick and you won't have to worry much about that annoying kd stab shit.

I only use kb if my hp gets too low and when vigors can't fix it. Or when some puts a stat on me (like bleed or div) so I can heal it without being interrupted. There is no use for me to kb if I got debuffs on someone (especially impotent), their damage will be too low so I rather get my max dmg out while I can.

Every bower I fight starts of using kb once in a while...But when I get debuffs on them it's like kb/kb/kb/strongbow/kb/kb/anti/kb/kb...And they still loose >.< Debuffs + Crits = WIN

kb for every little thing is lame, I'm a bower myself and I think it's pathetic to spam kb. Besides it won't do much damage lol, I rather charge another anti in that time or something.

Although yeah, if someone zerks you it's fun to kb him till zerk runs out xD

Speaking as a blader, I would very much recommend against using KB excessively. It's a good way to stop us close-range builds from hitting you but at the same time you're just letting us heal all your damage. Usually after an archer is done KB'ing, I'll have around 90-95% of my HP again and any strong attacks after that will not be an issue. In fact, since I began PvP'ing I don't think I've ever lost to an archer, and that's without using shield buffs/snow shield or vigors. (Highest damage I've gotten from any archer is a 13k crit with Division, but I have awesome gear.)

Fire Wall is a good way to keep bladers from KDing while you attack them and its definitely a big obstacle for most bladers. So keep up that Fire Wall and you'll be okay, or at least they'll be annoyed, and it's always good when your opponent is annoyed. Constant Fire Wall + big crits = unhappy blader.

i have a ff int bower...

i use knockback less than str bowers.. cos most of them are turk nabs and dont want their holy armor scratched or their hp under 90%.


only time i use it is when i have to kill some wizard quickly or get some short range fighter off my heels,

Oh I don't use kb at all in pve, waste of arrows and in B4 you'll need all the arrows you can get lol x.X
