And before you say "OMGZ use search" I have, but I turned up nothing that helped me.
Numerous guides have told me to keep the Fire nuke, book 1 and 3 at just level one. I didn't understand this. Sure, it might take a bit of extra SP, but wouldn't it be better in the long run?
OFF TOPIC: Got another question. I've tried to upload an avatar from the net and from my folder. I even downsized it to 100 x 100. Can anyone help me on this?

book1 and book3 have lower dmg output than book2.
unless you farmed a crapload of sp, you can put the sp that you dont use into buffs, which could save your life.
if you sp farmed, hell get whatever you want lol.

Alright, thanks. But even though im farming, still need to decide whether or not to get cold for the buffs and freeze, or if the new alchemy made ice obsolete.

I wouldnt go ice personally... As a nuker, you should be concentrating on max damage, and a freeze spell does not help start things off in that direction. Even worse if you are hitting an immune PVPer.
About Book 1 Nuke... Keep in mind that it is the ONLY fire nuke that does not have an AOE affect. Often, we need to hit a single mob without invoking aggro from the surrounding mobs. Additionally Book 2 is EXTREMELY expensive in MP, and often i only need the lower level damage to finish off something. It is also a lot faster to cast and has a much quicker cooldown than book 2. They BOTH have their places in my primary F bank.
If you can keep up with the demands of SP, I recommend keeping your Book 1 up and max it as you bring book 2 up.
