Rogue skills

im wondering about the first 4 rows of the rogue skills. so far i have made this list of skills

skills im not getting
-stealth extension -stealths cooldown is shorter then the time u can use the skill. so its pointless.
-scorn/gross scorn - i dont need nothing new attacking me, it might be fun to mess with people but i got lock for that
-poison weapons/Vein Weapon -its annoying but my sub is lock, so its not much compared to my debuffs right?
-Poison Circle/Vein Circle - clerics job
-Poison Field/Bane Field- same thing about sub class
-duplicate/Sable Duplicate - its fun but kinda pointless

i guess ill ask about the weapon classes too.

what im hoping for, is an experienced rogue to help me edit the list, and explain why i need a skill i am not planning on taking, or why i shouldn't take a skill i am taking =P

Actually, you'd be amazed how scorl/gross scorn is helpful in cape pvp.
You only have to know your opponent, his habits and you could turn it in your advantage.

Example, my friend Warrior/Cleric, after I do KD/Wounds on him, he always casts recovery followed by healing cycle.
If you cast scorn on him, most likely recovery and healing cycle will target you.
(Unless he's careful and spams-clicks on his avatar to target himself, while getting up, which usually people never do.) - P.S. this doesnt work on healing orbit or group recovery, but if you are against noobish Warrior or Rogue that casts orbit instead cycle, you shouldnt have problems wining anyway.

I didnt take AoE scorn tho, dont know why, I guess I am practiced enough to use scorn only.

I didnt take:

• Destealth - because I find pills much more useful, I'll be holding 1h/shield most of the time, but since you'll hold daggers/xbow, you might take it.
• Tag Point - waste of skillpoints imo, not much use from them (yet) - but I wont take it anyway.
• Vein Circle - You will have Holy Word/Spell, but I didnt take it once again because of same reason, I'll be holding 1h/shield, 2h sword or axes all the time.
• Poision traps - I find it useless.
• Few Dagger passives - Most of them are related with stealth, which I wont use much, but its up to you, you might take it. One is related with poison, which I hardly use anyway, I find it waste of MP

skills im not getting
-Avoid - actually, if I recall good, thats a passive that gives you physical resistance while holding crossbow, you should take it, you will solo probabbly sometimes, and physical resistance is always welcome.
-Poison power up
-Venom extension
-Spinning - You have enough skills for Dagger, to be honest I hardly even use screw.

but the bit about the avoid, its only phys+ against ranged opponents so thats why i didnt rlly want it. but idk

Well, its a passive and it definetally should be taken.
Imagine, all these Str bowers / rogues with xbow or physical based ranged mobs... I mean, why not?
Its 16% physical damage damage absorbtion for what, 25k sp? Thats 5 days of farming on 9 gap.

alright ill grab avoid, but screw? i mean my rogue is lv 89, my blader got hacked so my friend gave it to me as a gift. but i only have xbow skills right now, and low lv bard, so ill be farming and lvling daggers. so i should just skip screw?

Well, take it, there are still situations when I outspam all my daggers skills, and I need screw to finish opponent.

Poison is crap, I leveled it only untill lv40'ish because I 1hitted everything
So I thought it was just a waste of sp & mana ._.

thats what i was thinking. + ill have lock so itll be even more pointless.
