Are there any skills I should invest in besides the 2 2h skill trees?

Non-8/8 pt:
Iron Skin, Mana Skin, Vital Increase, Sprint Assault.

Well, if you're going to 8/8 pt, you'll need:
*skills listed above*, Taunt, Howling Shout, Physical Fence, Magical Fence, Protection, and Screens.

All 1h skills, and axes with sudden twist & passives...
With only 2h skills you'll suck bad.

You will need to buy Axes, 1H Sword and Shield too.

With only 2hs skills, you'll have a bit of a hard time at lower levels

There'll be times when you'll need 1hs (to tank) ... only thing you really need from 1hs is Shield Trash and the passives, though of course, with 5+ mobs on you, switching to 2hs can be fatal at times, so getting attack skills won't hurt....though of course, you can just stock up on vigor / hp grains (cuts your pot delay from 15 > 4) ...your tanking'll be fine then.

And like Nitro said, you'll just need Sudden Twist (for the bleed / stun) for Dual Axe....if you're not going with a sub, or at least a non-cleric one, the passives for dual axe'll help too, specifically the "Protection" and "Dual Defense" ones.
