Is the damage from 85% phys naked much higher than pure str?

Well, I was thinking about 85% phys naked (I'm a bower)
Does anyone who have experienced one of these kind of hibrids / seen one can tell me if there's a big difference in damage from the pure STR??

I had a lv 64 90% str hybrid. I hit 100-500 dmg higher per hit than a full str. I would guess that an 85% would hit even higher.

about 10-20% more damage, depending on your skill tree..
critical is roughly the same

I have one, lvl 65 I think 87% naked. Seriously, pure strs dont compare. At 65 I can hit lvl 70 mobs for 5k (without crit, just normal strongbow) Let's see a pure str do that.

I am experiencing the same thing. When I was lvl 51 I was grinding on Penon fighters/warriors. I deffinetly notice a difference ^^

for hybrids, im guessing you will need to be something like 100 weapon/100 fire/80 light/20 ice???
how much more dmg could 80 light (16% mag dmg?) give to a str hybrid (~85-88%) anyone know?

I'd say 100 Pach/Ice/Light to play it safe, but for that extra bit of damage 100 Pach/Fire 60 Light/40 Ice probably. Snow shield is important

I'm running the Pach/Ice/Light. I like it very much, and havnt had issues yet ^^

I went from pure str to hibrid 85% yesterday and I'm quite happy with it
