Dagger Rogue

What exactly is the disadvantage of fighting as one? All the rogues I see are xbow, i have yet to find anyone actually using daggers.
daggers are mainly for pvp
xbows are better for pve

daggers have really low defence since dagger desperate takes away 70% def 
Xbow had KB, KD and range while daggers only have dull and stun. Daggers are only used in pvp.

Like it was stated, Xbow's more for PvE and Daggers for PvP ...
A disadvantage towards using daggers ....other than a lower defense (only w/ DD on), there's the long cooldown of the skills (not like you need many), and the small reach your weapon has, but of course, rogues normally have both daggers and xbow, eventually.

One of my best grind mates on Iris (Rogue_Dagger) use them but he usually runs away from mobs because the mobs loves to hit him so hard.
I used to buff him with fences and pain quota when we were alone ptying and let me tell you that I was receiving a lot of damage from him.
A month ago we've found a work around this when he chooses to have cleric as a sub class so now with Recovery Division + fences + pain quota we are ok and yes, with daggers or xbow he deals a lot of damage to the mobs.
Edit: Oh, I think the disadvantage is the melee attack with light armor while with xbow you've KB and long range attacks.
Edit2: No grind mate... best friend there.

Xbow also has huge decreases,50% hp and 40% Phy def.Daggers later on do the job perfectly well with giants.Dull,Stun,Bleed,poison really nice for on giants,Xbow has more problem on Giants because Giants dont slow down,damage stays consistent.
Im 98 Rogue with a 98 xbow and dagger,skilled in both,1 other HUGE Pro of Dagger is that u dont need bolts,DOUBLING ur grindperiods,Deep in jangan Cave that makes all teh difference.
Dagger is much more nice to look at then Xbow skills,but I will say,Xbow is great early on before heading to JG cave.
