This is a question for everybody:

What exactly do they do? Do they increase the probibility to block?

Question for bladers and S/S nukers:

Do you have it, do you use it and does it make any difference when fighting other players?
(Oh snap, thats 3 questions!)

I was thinking of getting it on my blader as im farmed to 100 with about 200k SP to spare, but i never use it. I use Ironwall against STR and the Mountain Shield says "Increases the physical block rate". Does that mean it only increases block rate against STR attacks?

Never use it, i use my iron wall instead :S
I rather absorb dmg then get hit by a crit even with
that mountain shield.

Useless, I prefer higher phy defence over a higher block rate.

pretty useless, but it can be helpful vs int s/s, heuksal, since Iron Wall does not help at all vs them. while mountain helps blcok phy, atks, knowing that most player use weapon skills 90% of the time and a 1 or 2 nukes.

Really usefull against bowers who are kbing you.

Yup,if you fight against int chars its pretty useful,looks like you block a little more..well,depend on lv of skill your skill^_^

I have it.. only use it against wizards and occasionally int's. (I'm Int s/s)

IMo mountain Shield is good to block wizard's spells...

I was thinking the same thing. On the spear version is says it increases blocking ratio against Magical attacks, but spear cant block anyway, so whats the point?

i just say..IRONWALL 4Ever..never got to use iron castle so xD

When i use it i lose less HP by phisicaldmg,so for me it's more "% absorbtion"

yah lol but its as efficient as a like br 10-15 shield

I just think it's funny. Remember the old Bich skills with square blocks or whatever and spear had the spear actually spinning XD.

Yea. 60 and 70. I think they changed it to the swirly smoke and made it so you could move when they updated China Skills and added Euros.

I'm a pure INT archer. I laugh every time at the dumb bladers (and S/S INTs) who use Iron Wall/Iron Castle against me, and not realize that I am still doing the same damage on them, because those skills defend against Physical and not Magical damage. So instead of reducing the probability of being KBed by my arrow combos, they cast a useless skill.

One who build a pure int archer or one that use that skill against an archer.

Its only natural for one to think that Archers are either Hybrid or STR.
Because Pure Int Archers are bad pvp builds.
So you've got range as an archer, but your nukes does better damage, u use KB to save your own ass only to walk back to the proximity to cast your nukes since only Bow skills has the range but not your nukes.

Also, same lvl same gears, any1 who lose to a pure int Archer need to uninstall SRO.

I lol'ed so hard, I almost pissed my pants. Hilarious to see someone talk theory (or how they would play the build). If it's that bad, then you must suck pretty badly. And at what point did I mention nukes? I'm pure weapon skills, no nukes.

Instead of talking theory, why not see an actual PVP session with an INT archer. Com'n over to Gaia, and I'll change your mind.

In the main time, please refraid from talking senseless garbage. INT archers are an uncommon build. If you saw an INT archer do bad in PVP, that means the player sucked badly. It doesn't mean that it is true in general. But as I said, com'n over to Gaia, and I'll change your mind pretty fast.

Once snow shield is down, ur archer goes down with it.

Gear is everything in SRO, thats y i say provided you're at same lvl, with same gears.
Str and Hybrid builds does better in PvP.
Int build PvE.
Look in Characters Skills and Guides Tutorials, theres a guide for 70:70 Bow and Full Int bow.
Clearly stated, GOOD PVE Build, BAD PVP.
I had a CAPPED 70:70 ICE/LIGHT/BOW so i know how its like.
U can say u slain who n who, kill this n that.
Well mate, i tell u this one thing.
Full Int Bow SUX at PVP.
