To stall or not to stall...

Post by El Kabong »

What do you guys prefer selling and just NPC away?
I know you should sell most of the tablets except attack power, block, and maybe +hp/mp...

Should you stall EVERY piece of armor you stumble upon?
Shoul you just sell the blues or the ones with high +% on them?

I'm starting to wonder if the time spent trying to stall would actually cut down on the money you gain overall, since if you arent selling you are grinding and getting gold that way...

*EDIT* Oh, CRAP! Wrong section... can someone move this...? :banghead:

You should stall high crits (+10) and high block ratios (+16).

Well I do it a little different. No more NPC weap/armor drops. If good stats or +/blue I will save up and stall. All whites get the destroyer rondo treatment. Once you hit 3rd or 4th degree well worth the cost for the amount of elements you get.

Hit "a" to open up the actions window and find alchemy in those button and put it in a quickslot if you want or just right click on it. Put the destroyer rondos in the far left slot and the items you want to turn into elements in the right slots. And click some....button...that I can't remember the name of lol. And you'll get elements for alchemy, woot.

I don't care for stalling myself. Takes too much time when I'm playing and I'd rather not overnight stall due to leaving my computer on all night (room heats up lol)

I try to shout anything worthwhile to see if anyone wants, or if it's really good I'll sell it later. Other than that I just NPC everything. Sure people make a lot more money stalling that I'm missing out on, but stalling and trading are the two main things that are boring to me in this game.

Grinding ftw.

Lance, exactly. Destroys weapon/armor and gives alchemy elements. When using on 4th degree items I usually get around 25 each of 4 different lvl 3 and 4 elements. Given the cost of the rondo & NPC buying amount vs the price people want for 100 lvl 3 and 4 elements it is cheaper to blow up items with rondo.

What are you trying to destroy? Only works on weapons and armor/protector/garment. Apparently CAN'T be used on unrepairable items.

While in town (so you don't get ganked), Hit the "A" key
Right click the alchemy option
Make sure you are in the correct screen - you want material processing not attribute screen
Put destroyer in box on left side
Put item to be destroyed in right side
Clickfuse all button on lower left

Make sure you have at least 4 inventory slots open
