Hey all ^^

im here for help... my char has 500k sp and im trying to decide between a remake of my bower or a glavie (to be diff, everyone is bower now... xD).
bowers are famous but glavie seems real fun.. and i enjoy ctf and pvp.

I dont really know any advantages/disadvantages so can someone help me decide? haha

And plus idk if i should keep farming for lv110 cap.. decisions decisions.. ahah

Bow:
-lots of kb
-lots of crits
-range

Glaive:
-lots of stun
-some really high dmg attacks
-extra hp
-extra mag def from fan storm

There's obviously more but that's all I could come up with in like 2 mins.

Both bow and glaive good for pvp nowadays.But bow seem better in pve including uniques.

bow > glaive in pvp. they can't kill me.

yet to pvp a glaiver with double throw though.

i have sos and +5 bows up til lv72 also
but have a pimpin fb som +5 glavie xD

Looks like bow would be better doesnt it? (pvp and unique hunting)

Bow takes less sp if that helps...

Bow (if full str) levels slower at lower lvls than glavie (glavie has more aoe on lower lvls)
At higher lvl, bow lvls faster

I personally find bow incredibly boring. The skills aren't cool enough for my liking. I say go glavie.

Bow:
+ Range
+ Good Attack Rating
+ Hawks (Attacking)
+ Criticals
+ Knock Back (And Knock Down)

- Arrows
- Less HP than Glavie

Glavie:
+ More HP than Bow
+ Bonus Mag.Def
+ Stuns
+ Knock Back (Ghost Spears)

- Only One Ranged Attack
- Slower

Glavie of course...Bow is bored, every skill looks same... and every one is bower.

But what kind of Build on the next caps?
-Heuksal/Lightning/Fire
-Heuksal/Cold/Fire
-Heuksal/Force/Fire

...thats a hard decision

I think i might just go glavie.

Only bad part is all the gold ive spent on bows :/ oh well i can always stall lol.

Glavie seems fun cus of the skills and such just gotta farm more

I thought that at first too, at the low levels. Once you get to higher levels though it gets really fun, I might go on to say that it is my favorite build to solo after I hit the 60's. I don't know what it was, I just started to feel like a beast...however, your right about glavie moves, they are so fun, the chains are soooooo smexy.

You guys make it sound like glavie isnt boring to play....

I'm not really worried about what build is the "best" for the chinese pure str choices.. I just want a fun char for pvp, ctf , unique hunting and decent for lvling

Pvp-Bow(Vs euros ranged KB).
Ctf-Both
Unique hunting -Bow for sure.
Decent leveling-Bow.

Bow wins mayority.Even if someone were to dispute decent leveling.Im euro xbow,any chinese is slow for me in leveling,but bow is passable.

Haha im going with glavie because I have a lv 53 bower already, it just isn't farmed enough and would have to farm at lvl 64 :/ and farming as we all know is boring... but i dont find it as bad cus i'll be 8d lol.

Well I have both a glavie and a bower in the 70's and imho, I find glavie is more fun in ctf/pvp/etc...I find bower more fun PvE, I don't know why, maybe it's just me because most people I talk to are the other way around, but then again, most people I talk to haven't had both at a "high" level. Isn't that sad, 70's isn't really considered that high level anymore?

To be honest ive never had a "High" Lvl. My highest lv char is 53
kinda embarrasing..

Don't worry I find lvl 70 high lvl

Yeah lvl 70 is the new lvl 20, u may start jobbing and all but ur getting owned

Depends on the person and in this case I doubt he will enjoy glavie over bow.

Fastest grinding= bow
unique's= bow
good in solo pvp = bow

Anyway to the OP you should choose what style you like the most because gameplay keeps evolving.

bow= attacking from a save range and using kb + phantom to stay away from your enemy. It will be hard when 2 enemy's attack you cause you can only kb 1.

Glaive= Hitting your enemy mindless with big hits while you can last longer versus multiple enemy's due to magic defense + high hp.

Haha see why this decision is so hard..

And i dont wanna end up not likeing my char after farming all that sp... (never wanna do it again.. except at high lvl if i have to)

But most suggested bow because of the things i like to do.. Ill go with it cus i know i wont get dissapointed thanks all.

Glavie is crap in my eyes srry for those who are glavie lol .

Like ranged attacks - Bow,
Want to level faster - Bow,
Want to farm faster - Bow.

Like unique skills - Glavie.

Bow is fun more or less, but overall less defence.. However, with the addition of new skills. Its a valid option. I would suggest Bow, as im in love with them at this moment. However, i am a believer than.. even on a cap where bow is so highly overpowered.. Other chars can kill them. Glavie being one.

Still, imo - Bow.

Altough Bow is better but I would see Gavie a lil bit more exotic class since it's skills are so cool...

again go with bow. im lvl 95 bow and other lvl 95+ glaivers couldnt kill me during FW.
