Wizards in PvP

i have a pure STR bow (lvl 20) and a pure STR rogue/cleric (lvl 11), my best friend plays a wizard and i recently PvP'd him. Wow is all i have to say is there a way to get out of this "fear" he calls it, (BTW he was 20 and i was on my bow)but he casts fear then i just sit there for 10secs then die.... lol

So am i doing something wrong on my bow or is there a way to get out of it, or is it just something where i have to get to a higher level.

and which do better against wizards the pure STR bow or the rogue/cleric
(my rogue is only lvl 10 so i cant really try it against him.)

no that's a real skill one way to have him not be able to cast it on you is use an ice/fire wall ice absorbs phys while fire absorbs mag so if you want your wall to last use an ice wall but if you want to take 0 dmg for a hit use firewall.

You'll beat him when you're higher . You can try casting fire wall when he gets fear on you so it takes the next hit with no damage to you. You can also use one of those expensive pills to get rid of the status but that's probably beyond your budget at the moment XD.

Str bow is probably better vs wizard, unless you go stealth on the rogue.

Edit: If you use ice wall make sure you have it up before the wiz casts fear on you.

you can use freeze attack, the aoe one since you dont have to target people
or if you dont mind someone else interfereing shoot mind bow at another pvper and hope it hits wiz always

you can buy pills to cure fear too, but its expensive for a lv 20

Well once u get the kb, it will be hard for wizards to kill u. And if you crit them it's over -.-" this is why I hate crits lol, strong bow crit 1 hits a wizard

On the rogue once you hit 20 and get the buff you'll 1shot him all the time...

Just keep distance... Rogue attacks from higher distances, but wizard casts faster

Wizards are pretty poor in PvP. A capped Wizard would have no chance against a Bower of the same level and gear.
