Balance Hybrid Issue

I just noticed, is this a possible proof that hybridizing is bad in general? At lvl 100, you lose alot more mag balance than phy balance gain by hybridizing on china characters.
If you change the phy balance by 3%, you will lose 6% mag balance. You will have to go well over 50 stat points to notice more change in phy balance. I think this is because it also takes into account just how much mag balance you have.
However, at higher lvl, the max mag and phy balance you can have with pimped gear goes down. This really makes me wonder, are china really meant to hybrid or are they also suppose to be pure as well.
