Hey guys, got a question.

What do you guys think of a 100pach/100light/100ice build.

Also with which level of fire are you immune for everything (include jewelry etc.)

Hmm 100 ice ... never heard of that for a bower

IMO get my build the 100pach 100 fire 80 light 20 ice

20 ice for snow wall .... ^^

I think this would be a very good build for a couple of reasons. first because 100 ice gives good defense and this is what bower suck at. ice gives you the imbue which is REALLY useful in pve for slowing mobs.

another reason is that, bower have very good dmg and bad def. so ice gives you snow shield although i recommend you go hybrid for snowshield or its gonna steal all your mp and you wont be able to attack. or you could stay pure str and take snowshield only level 1 which will also save a couple of sp

I just want that some people explain why they take ice over fire? In my ways I can only see profits in going ice over fire. Give me some reasons please.

fire > ice in my opinion
Fire is considered the Pure str tree.

fire gives you the strongest imbue. (more damage)
it also gives you phy. damage increase (more damage)
you also get fire shield (just switch to a shield, helps)
you also get hard fire protection (you get hit less from magical attacks)
FIRE WALL (this helps a lot, it takes the damage for you)
and the passive (more damage)

ice gives you phy. def. buff (you take less damage, not much)
snow shield (for last ditch efforts, won't really use this much)

So, in the end. Fire > ice because you get more from it. Also, most euro's are clerics. My friend that i always hunt with is a cleric. Hes not a bard. This means, I can get phy. def. buffs from him, but I can't get speed, and 250k for 30 minutes or w.e is expensive. Also, phantom helps when your a bower, you can phantom away, follow it up with double knockback, and now you've put a big gap between you and your opponent. This is why i think you don't need that physical defense buff from ice because with this distance between you and them, their not gonna be hitting you.

The question you should have asked is why do people choose ice > light because fire is a must. If you're curious as to this, go ahead and ask and I'll write up why.

I decided to just make the all-round build 100/100/80/20.

Lol I just read something about glaviers owning with 100heuk/100fire/100ice.
Which build do you prefer, glavie or bow?

Glavie personally. I like it's skills and massive hp. Plus it just looks cooler IMO

You can always make int bow, I have one, works great...
100 Pach/Light/Ice

I was thinking about switching to Glavier but Idk...that will have to wait until I try the new lvl 98 bow skill..

OT: IMO 100pach/light/ice is good, I would go hybrid though if you decide to take this build. If you want to go pure STR though I would go 100pach/fire/88ice/12light.

That could work, but still kind of a waste of sp to max light. Compared with 80 light, all you'll be getting is a few more % of speed, like another meter of phantom, and like 10 more parry if your lucky, all for oddles of sp. If it were my char taking ice and light mainly, I'd do 100 ice 80 light and 20 fire for immunity. Technically you only need 11 fire for immunity but it can't hurt to have a little extra breathing room if you have a stubborn accessory that just won't get 20% on it. You can also get like 4% more phys damage with 20 fire too, lol.

Oh I'd take ice imbue also, works wonders against non-immune players, its the best "disabler" in the game imo. If your going pure str you won't see much of a damage difference at all compared to light imbue.

as a hybrid the mag increase buff from light makes a huge difference from what ive read

Unless you are thinking of heavy hybrid, you definatly need to take fire.
You get %19 dmg buff, nice mag def, firewall to cancel out 1st mag attacks, fire shield which may be handy sometimes, A bit higher imbue dmg. Mag atak buff you get from light cant be compared none of theese imo. Archer should be pach-fire-light imo at 10d. If you take cold over light, you are a standstill attacker as others. Cold's phy def is cool but may not be as life saver as ghost walk skills + combos. 23m + combo's are cool combination. Only downside is other archers will probably do same and you will be more vulnurable to their attacks since they will have same attack range as you. So cold def / snow will be mostly usefull against other archers.

Pure str, pacheon 100 fire 100 cold 100, I own all lightbows, well at this cap its matter of time when they start just kb spamming cause they cant tank like I do.
