Ksro Update

KingOfNarnia/Tasdik wrote:
- lvl cap increased to 110.
- Degree 11 items updated.
- XP tickets could be stopped once at a day.
- Alchemy update.
- Inv/storage slots increase.
- Hotan fortress updates.
- New areas and map modification.
- Old job system (triangular conflict) will be back.
- Chinese chars will be at same lvl (power) of the euro ones, dunno if euros gonna me nerfed or chinese buffed.

Assuming we will get this in Isro (Eventually) ...

Does this mean.... that either European's will be severely reduced in power?

Or that chinese will get more skills with status effects?

Or chineses' mastery level will be increased to more than 300?

Or Something else? :P Discuss.

Thank you

+1

I doubt the euros will lose any power. Joymax will probably make chinese chars more powerful to kind of even out the two.

Although at this point none of us have any idea what will happen since it hasn't even been realized in Ksro yet. Nothing to do but wait. *grabs some popcorn*

Euros will most likely get nerfed to balance out the game as we have already seen in kSRO. They lowered the effects of Holy Spell/Word from 100% immunity to 50%. Although that is only one change, it does say something about possible changes in Euros.

Yes.
For more money joymax could do even worse than increase the mastery level.

"Q:- Can you give us a hint of the final level cap and will the mastery levels remain at 300?
A. Unfortunately we cannot reveal the final level cap, but I can tell you that mastery levels will remain at 300."

new chinese skills:
-sky for bow
-counter for heuksal

euro will most likely stay the same

i guess the [%] multipliers get changed and the chinese passives and buffs will be more effective
i am just hoping they change force to be as independant as the other force trees too
since they have changed many chinese skills here and there
:(

for all of you people who didnt read that, no shame but if you have read that before and are expecting the mastery level cap to raise, well think again, it wont happen.

Most likely, a few of the euro buffs/debuffs will be weakened or a few of the Chinese characters will get similar things.

There is nothing over powering about a Euro when it is by itself. Its the buffs they get from each other that make them over powered. Everyone knows a Euro 8 man pt will beat a Chinese 8 man pt every time. Euros, by themselves are not overpowering over any Chinese. They are strong, but they have flaws as well.
Assuming that, they will probably decrease effectiveness of European party buffs in pvp mode. (FW, cape, jobbing) As it is, a chinese character has a higher phy/mag (Depending on build) to its European counterpart. For example, a glaiver has a higher phy attack power, than a 2h warrior.
The problem is probably that Chinese should be hybrid, they would maximize damage that way, but they also suffer from tanking that way.
They can't give a Chinese the same buffs as a Euro. Chinese would kill Euro every single time because of the pot delay advantage.

This is where Islam comes ... Y'know the drill Euro>China; Islam>Euro; China>Islam;
How? Islam will probbably have skills that remove buffs... (bless/skins/ interupt dances etc... making buff coldown increase alot etc etc)

A predetermined advantage? Screw that. All races are unique but that shouldn't equate to some natural (coded) advantage. Every player should be able to defeat any player regardless of race. I don't want to be just fighting Chinese because I'm a Euro, or Islam because I'm Chinese.

1/1 vs chinese euro's are not OP, well anything that has lock as main/sub mastery probably is. definitely not warrior/cleric rogue/cleric ect. wizards fail at pvp.

Euros are overpowered in parties and individually. I remember getting hit for 2-3x my hp by same level rogues. 2handers were almost the same.

Still doesnt mean that they wont raise it anytime, even if they plan not to raise it, they always can change their plans. Like Nitro said, its their game, they can change it like they want.

Atm, chinese is weaker than euro because chinese is not fully developed yet. Everytime the cap increase, chinese get new skills and increase the status effect probability, euro only update the current skills. It's too soon to tell which side is stronger, the real fight in meant to be at cap 120 or 140.

as the cap rises , the chinese will get stronger skills , BUT less , because they will be only able to max 2 mastereties from 110cap .

And by the way: Will you ever handgrind yourself up to lvl140, when even a 24/7 bot can't make lvl139-140 in a month?

edit : Fck.. we need a PVP private server with instant max gap and 10 million sp.
edit 2: And with like 10000 slots for sure , to be able to log in at least at midnight

Has there been any info on what these two series do? Hopefully counter would be something cool, heuksal haven't gotten anything new since who knows how long... for some reason i do get the feeling it's some mag atk increase buff, counter acting bicheon's phy atk increase buff, but i hope not, i want something glavies can benefit =[

But if neither of them gets boosted/nerfed, what will happen to the pot delays? If they wont change and the chins get more powerful, then **** me.

Lol, as much as that sounds cool, i think mind bow series would alrdy act as the aoe atk >.>, lol, sky could be a combination of mag/phy atk increase but not as much as bicheon or hueksal (if it increase mag atk)... i dunno
