Well... I currently have a rogue/bard lvl 32 and I'm loving it... But I'm kinda worried about SP. If I will be able to make it.
Was wondering if I should make a char all over again and plvl it but... the problem is I don't have gold since I just started a week ago after a long break. Or should I just continue with the rogue I have and....?
When is the best time to farm for the rogue? at what lvl and approximatly how long will it take?...

you won't need any sp for a while if u just get crossbow skills and then basic speed from bard

Will you be farming with a party or without?

with my 32? Prolly without... is there a difference?

Yeah there is. If you grind with a euro party you'll level crazy fast since you can grind on mobs that are 10ish levels higher then you.

Anyways, I'd say farm at the PEG's NS room. No one is ever there and it has a great spawn rate.

What are PEGS?... Haven't been on SRO for a long time...
anyways... at what lvl?

xbow by nature can solo on mobs 10+ higher than them to begin with so you don't need to party... it just makes it less boring

Hmm, well, is your highest character this rogue/bard lvl 32? You wouldn't be able to powerfarm another char with this one. And, rogue/bard requires relatively low SP. I'd suggest you to keep up with this rogue/bard if you are enjoying it, and go leveling with a low gap and preferably in a euro party, until you get to near the cap, and then farm whatever else you need there with the best equipment you can possibly afford, so the 9 gap won't hurt your defense so much. Euros are harder to farm alone because of the equipment's mastery level requirement, being powerfarmed is relatively way more necessary for euros to farm than for chinese imo.

@Raphael: At farming time... can U just close the gap.. get the equipment that's my level then dlvl to a 9 gap?

No. You'll be unable to effectively wear the equipment of a higher level than your mastery. If you keep wearing it after you've deleveled, it'll turn red and give you ~ 0 defense, if I recall it correctly, even if you never unequip it. So no, it's not possible to do that.

Yes, that's why I said euros are not so effective when solo farming, when compared to chinese which can wear equipment up to their level, instead of their mastery level. But, as I've said a low gap should be enough for your SP needs, and if you mainly level in parties, you won't even bother wearing lower level equipment, as the tanks should mainly get the hits, not you.

Farming solo is always slow, and a euro would farm as slowly as a chinese, or even faster because they deal more damage, but what I was saying was that you wouldn't be able to use armor up to your level, so you'd be lacking defense, and therefore it'd be harder for your to survive against mobs your level, if you are soloing.

Ah I don't think defense will really matter for me. =P just need to stay away from champs and giants... since I'm an Xbow rogue and with bard sub =P

Ok well ur only going xbow and bard so i suggest just 4 gap shuld give u enough exp if not just stop start farming a little then lvl again
