hey guys im makin a pure int sword shield character and ive read quite a few guides and they all say i should wear protector but i always see sword shield nukers runnin around in armor and i just wanted ur guys opinion on which is the best.

Int nukers sometimes wear armor since most of the mobs attack you with physical attacks. Armor is the best way to defend against those attacks.

But! Armor IMO is the worse equipment type out of armor, protector and garment. Because it doesn't give you any "Bonuses". Like protector makes it so you run 10% faster and reduces your mp consumption by 10%. Garment makes it so you run 20% faster and reduces your mp consumption by 20%.

But since your an Int I'd say go with protector since it gives you good phy def and mag def.

depends entirely on your masteries as a full int:
if ice maxed:
definitely prot

if ice below lvl 60:
VERY GOOD PROT SET
or
armor if you intend to survive vs phys mobs

If u keep ur snowshield maxed I would really consider garment
Since it's the fastest
& garment + shield + pure int = ideal wizard killer

It's probably the best choice overall, but I'm pretty sure you'll in the end change to garment when at cap, if you have cold maxed.

Garment all the way lol, with cold masteries maxed, especially snow shield and passive etc. Ofcourse pro would give you better phy def, but tbh in pvp if you have nice stats on ur gear, and have worked on pimping them out, garments are the way to go! No int build will kill you, wizards especially wont be a worry, and during snow shield you can still take a good crit from a rogue. Ofcourse, pro is the easier way to go, but even with pro ur phy def isnt that great as full int, so you might aswel focus on going for 100% mag attack - 100% mag defence ^^

Tbh, in garms as full int no chinese build is that much of a worry, i havent ever had to worry about anything in pvp apart from stupid rogues sneaking up and 1hitting you, even when ive been full sun thats a prob lol.
