What is a good subclass for wizards? Cleric or Bard.

Cleric if you want extra survivability (not really worth it in my opinion);
Bard if you want to be able grind at an even greater speed and more easily, while consuming way less MP pots (maybe even none).

Both play different roles in a party (cleric or bard), and I think I can say that they are equally useful in a party.

both are good choices, just depends on your perferance

i recently changed from bard>cleric
and found that its alot slower leveling and you have no speed boost to run everywhere....
and you dont really survive as much... as i changed and thought i would be able tot ake a few more hits.. i was wrong.. n lost over 30% today ><
im really starting to think bard was better! :@
may even change back yet..

definately bard.

even with recovery division u can only take3-4 hits max. bard will make lvling rly fast

yeah i agree bard is alot faster.. but getting 1 hit by giants + pt mobs isnt fun ><
where bless spell comes in really really handy... but going cleric is alot slower because of speed buff ><

earth barrier, fear, knock back, and running like hell

if you're at mobs that spawn giants its easier to grind with life control / life turn over off, then a giant still shouldn't 1 shot you if you got a half way decent set
