Wizard/Bard

Post by Cepiii »

Hello,

Can anyone who plays wizard/bard put screenshots of their skill bars?
Tactics PvE, PvP, and party play will do too :)

Thanks!

I arrange my skill bars differently then most people do.

Here's what my skill bars would look like...

F1: 1 = Hp pots, 2 = mp pots, 3 is my regular single shot ice nuke, 4 is my ice AoE nuke, 5 is the single shot fire nuke, 6 is my earth AoE nuke, 7 is my lightening knock back nuke, 8-0 is where I put anything random that I'd need. I keep all of my "buffs" like invis, detect, LC, noise, MM and so on in the second "floating" slot thing. I use the X spot for the teleport skill.

F4: Hp, Mp pots both on 1 and 2 again, attacks are on 3-5, Mana cycle is on 6, tambours/hit march are on 7-9 and DoM is on 0.

For PvE it's simple. Throw up noise and LC and run around pwning the mobs. Gotta watch out for champs and giants. Champs shouldn't be a problem 2 nuke hit easy.

With giants I wouldn't recommend fighting them unless you have zerk. It's to risky. And when you do have zerk start attacking the giant with the ice AoE nuke, followed by the earth AoE nuke then lightening knock back, rinse and repeat. You may have to throw the fire nuke in there occasionally and it never hurts to use the other ice nuke to keep him in frostbite or frozen.

In PvP lightening knock back and fear status is your best friend. Use them wisely.

Party play: You pretty much sit in a designated area and as the two tanks lure *one of them may stay back to protect the Int's like you* you just wait and after they've came back, stopped running and are sitting there tanking them you open fire on the mobs. Normally the tank that is luring will drop off the few remaining mobs onto the tank that's protecting you so he can go out and lure some more. Thus keeping the exp flowing.

Everyone has pretty different skill bars. If u've played a char b4, have ur skill bar similiar to tht one so u r use to it. Tasdik pretty much said everything u need to know. Against giants, even with ur fears and knockbacks, one unlucky crit and it may be over.
Wish the best for raphaell666

currently in the proccess of dlvling cleric for bard so i leave off f4 which is what remains of my cleric, bless, reverse 3 and rd

but here is my bars

f1 is my party bar
f2 is my solo/ pvp bar
f3 is my bard obvioiusly

for pvp 1 vs 1 i usually charged wind which i have maxed so it actualy hurts at the same time (not much but 5k dmg and knock back is better then 200 dmg and knock back) followed by frozen spear, i don't really 1 vs 1 much my gear sucks too bad

for group pvp its about the same cept i live long enough to follow with earth shock

if target is on a horse i use forzen spear first then meteor that hits the person for 2 hits of spear plus meteor then i charged wind and frozen spear again, if that doesn't get the job done i'm dead

remember hit first and don't be afraid to let a warrior harass the enemy with knock backs

edit

tip if you are fighting a warrior use fire/lava trap before shooting them, the dmg fro the trap will go off as soon as they sprint assault you if you are still standing on it

wizard/bard/cleric?

said i was getting rid of cleric, but actually i have to admit its oddly nice having 3 classes, i can bard in parties or wiz, and solo i can have rd and a march and a bless thats enough to help me tank a giant, but cleric will be gone in another 500 hearts
