which hawk is the best?im more of pve. i got lvl 1 black hawk and lvl 8 white hawk. i dont know which 1 is better. i dont really pvp as much. so which hawk would best fit me? and can i get a little discription of each differnt kinds of hawks and how good they are also.

for pve, i'd say the hawk (black?) that attacks also.

what does increased hit ratio do any ways?wat is do good about that?

It increases Attack Rating which is useful for most bowers in Pve or Pvp makes you crit more on your opponents and its more useful than the hawk that attacks in my opinion

I dont think so. Attack rating is opposite of parry ratio, higher it is higher damage you get from the cycle x ~ x, just like higher parry makes you get less. Example you have in weapon phy.attack 1200 ~ 1500. Many other said its like this too.

edit: and yes I prefer attack rating hawk, more damage with every skill and attack hawk hits slow.

I wasnt talking about Hit Ratio or Parry Ratio... I assumed he was talking about the hawk that increases attack rating and he made a error and thought it said hit ratio...since the topic is talking about the hawks of Pacheon Series

Attack rating doesn't increase crits either. Attack rating is in fact the same as Hit Ratio if I recall it correctly.

No. For instance, let's say your damage on a mob ranges from 100 to 200. The highest your attack rating is (and the lower the mob's parry ratio is), the higher your chances are to hit closer to 200. The lower your attack ratio is (and the higher the mob's parry ratio is) the higher your chances are to hit closer to 100.

actually no thats not what attack rating does at all....thats reinforce and actual dmg... attack rating increases your chances of criting thats why bowman have a hawk for it and thats what makes bowman special..because they crit so much they are all about attack rating

Are you serious? Having a hawk and being special has literally nothing to do with anything at all.

Bowmen crit more because they have one serie of skills that increase crit when you use them, this serie is called Anti Devil Bow. The new book of Strong Bow at 100 cap, has critical increase too. Attack rating does what I said in my last post. Apart from those skills with crit increase, they crit as often as any other build with the same Crit on their weapon, independently of their Hit Ratio (or attack rating). By the way, why would they make two 'statuses' (critical and attack rating) have exactly the same effect? Also, nothing can increase your critical damage, only damage (physical damage [that gets doubled] or magical [that stays the same]) can. The attack rating hawk simply increases their chances of hitting as high as possible.

Attack rating has nothing at all to do with crit'ing chances. If it had, then a party buffed by Hit March (a bard buff) would be dealing critical hits all the time.

Why then with prem + attack rating honor buff and hawk + my wep i hit crits almost everytime with anti devil bow series... almost every time

You already answered it, you use Anti Devil Bow series that increase your crit'ing chances. I see on your sig that you have a 90 bower, then I assume you are FF'ed? Let me see the Anti devil bow - Annihilate lvl 90 skill, which you should have if FF'ed.

If I'm correct it increases your chances of criting by a %, so, let's say you have a weapon with crit 11, that'd mean you'd crit 40+11=51% of the time when using that skill. You'd then crit most of the time. As you can see, this is percentage based, and it heavily depends on luck (if you get lucky you might crit all the time, if you are unlucky you might never crit). I say again, attack rating has nothing to do with crit'ing chances.

Exactly, bow is the "crit build" because of the skills and thats why also pure str is the best for bow. Lets see 3 of 4 skills have critical increase what I use in pvp, 2 antidevils gives 40 increase and 35 then strongbow 10 increase its not impossible at all to crit whole duel example vs glavier. Ive got many times 4 in a row even 5 very rarely and thats what owns. You can think why some skills have critical increase and devil arrow attack rating increase if it means same thing, cause it doesnt.

best way to see attack ratting is it helps keep your dmg consistanly toward your higher end of hte dmg range, for example, I can 1 shot yachas most of the time, how ever there is that every so often my nuke hits low, i use a one of those attack rating scrolls from the last event, and i don't fail to one shot them any more 19 out of 20 times as compared to before where it was like every 5th one would live the first hit, my dmg wasn't increased i was just hitting more consistently in my higher end.
