hi can someone help me with a blader build please? is cold useful?

bich 100 / fire 100 / cold 100
bich 100 / fire 100 / light 100

ive never been a fan of going like 72/38 or w.e

cold gives u a bit of phy. def that u get with a euro in the party. light gives u speed which u can get with a euro in the party. i prefer having light, especially with the tomb, cause i dont have to buy speed scrolls.

100 bich/ 100 fire/ 80 light/ 20 ice.

snowshield + grasswalk and phantom = win

or one of the builds i'd like to use is bich/fire100, light42,ice58 ( that is if you want more physical defense )

Let me try to explain something to you:

Pure INTs lack physical defense, but have good magical defense.
Pure STRs lack magical defense, but have good physical defense.

That being said, any kind of extra defense is very welcome. So, in first place for a Pure STR, you should try having a good magical defense (you can get that through garment + fire), then you can worry about physical defense. For instance, as STR, lightning changes pretty much nothing related to defense, so why not taking the extra physical defense from Cold? It certainly helps a lot. There's not such a thing as STRs don't need physical defense, they simply don't lack it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't help. I hope you got that straight.

Now, about your build, I'm not saying that Cold is better than Lightning, they are different, in a summarized way, lightning = speed; cold = defense. You have to make your choice based on what you like. If you choose lightning by the way, theres no need at all of maxing it as a pure STR, going for 80light/20cold is in a lot of points superior to going simply 100light.

A blader without bicheon is an absolute disaster. Don't even think about it.

So should I take 20 ice/ 80 light or 28 ice / 72 light?

Whatever, in the end both are nearly the same. I'd go for 80lightning/20cold anyways.

The difference between 72 lightning and 80 lightning is tiny which is why i prefer 72 light 28 cold for the 3-4% extra snow shield. But really there is very little difference between them.
