rouge skills and sub class

i am makeing a rouge and i dont know if i should wear heavey armor or light. i was thinking about goin heavy armor and bard because i like to solo grind a lot and not a big fan of getting atked from lots of mobs. i was think about cleric but lvl 40 is where clerc buffs start kicking in(healing devision lvl 40). im goin 2 make xbow and use some dagger skills. which sub should i get and which is better??
bard or cleric??

First off you can't wear HA when you're as rogue, and using LA is just way better.
Get bard since it has the skill to give you MP and speed. Rogue/bard is the fastest solo class in SRO.

i'd go rogue / cleric...rogue bard isnt so good in my opinion...from the sub u only gain speed,noise...from cleric u got bless spell,heal,recovery division...and more that will help u alot..

Just wanted to make it more clear, europeans use armor based on their masteries, and Rogue mastery makes you able to use LA only. Warrior makes you able to use heavy armor and/or LA. Wizard, bard and warlock make you able to use garment. Cleric enables you to use LA or garment.

Bard = speed (good at PvE and group pvping/jobbing).
Cleric = survivability (good at 1vs1) and cleric skills are more useful in a group than bard seeing you are a pure STR, therefore cleric is better at helping ppl at group pvping/jobbing.
Cleric also means more farming while for bard you wouldn't need to farm so much.
