I'm a pure STR/BOW/COLD archer.
I am putting skills in Pacheon/Cold and Secondary lightning.
I have 2 questions.
I already know about Pacheon skills but i need help on these:

1)What are the BEST cold skills i can put up considering my build i have stated.

2)What lightning skills are good? I have it at mastery 12 at the moment with level 1 grasswalk, are the 2nd and 3rd books good? I've also got the level 1 passive.


AHH 1 more thing, i was thinking of putting all masteries up to level 10 for the passive ablities and the imbues and stuff i can get as they only cost like 2sp etc...is that good?

If you're planning on doing alot of PvP, I'd suggest switching to fire as your main. Not only will it help you deal more damage, but it also has alot of physical damage buffs.

If you really want to stay with ice, I would only get the protection series and the frost nova series (or whatever they're called). Ice wall could possibly help later in the game as I've seen ice archers put one up before they attack. However, the wall is destroyed after 1 hit from a spear/glavie.

Lightening...get the grass walk flow as well as phantom walk (lvl 32). If you have the extra sp, lvl up concentration.

2: second skill [ forgot what its called] optional ,grass walk, second book optional, concentration and passive

Yeah get fire for pvp. If youre determined to stay with ice, get the imbue of course, the frost nova wind series, (using all 3 boks one at a time will make your enemy immobile) and the passive.

I was actually reading the STR/BOW/FIRE sticky and i wondered if i went fire what skills should i use for it? Considering i already have the ice imbue.

Fire is a must for the STR users because it give you like 10% even more to your damage. The fire imbue is the best of all because give you most damage does burn and does not aggro other monsters as the lightning one. I would put some points into lightning as it gives you speed and buffs you will need. For me cold is not necessary and force is optional. As for the weapon skills I don't know much cuz I don't use them.

well my cold mastery is already at level 18 now with 7 6 on the 1st and 2nd skills. Should i leave them now and level fire or?

I will recommend that you do. It will increase your damage. You won't need to delevel the mastery at this point, just increase your gap for a while and you will regain the sp for it. At the cap level (I hope you will reach it) if you still need masteries then you should delevel the ice. Or if you need cold aswell you will be fine.
