Light imbue VS Ice imbue

I understand that light is stronger than ice. But how much? Is the difference very noticeable?
What about the status that light nuke gives? It increases your damage much?
What about Ice freezing and frostbite? Does it save an int char in tight PvE situations a lot? How about PvP? You can be Ice immune, but only if you have fire mastery. Rings only provide 80% right? When lets say I freeze someone, does that act like stun? And euros, can they be ice immune as well?
I certainly like the Ice looks and sound more than light. When you grind its better to hear this "bling/ding" than "zhzhzz" lol.
Any screens/vids of 4th/5th tier ice and light imbues?
I hope to hear some feedback.

Ice > Lightning.
The difference in damage isn't necessarily significant, however the status effect that Ice deals is great. And not all people are Ice immune, also it takes a second to pill Freeze/Frostbie off.

But yeah I agree with Tsume Ice > light. Ice is sexier, sounds better, looks cooler and has awesome effects.

At the current cap, almost all chinese chars have immunity to ice. And many euros have cleric sub. Being full str tho, i can't notice much difference at all between the damage so i'll say Ice > Light incase u vs someone who aint immune. Ice can be pretty useful for pve but so can the transfer from light imbue.

transfer for light imbue is sad imo. at low lvls ice imbue works very well in pvp.

I would get ice for pve & lightning for pvp. xD
Or just get ice imbue only, I dont think lightning status is noticable

Yes. But this thread is just about the imbue. Not the buffs.

Something to think about. If your a pure int s/s. You could get both light and ice imbues. Use the light imbue while nuking and the ice imbue while using the chains.
I know a guy on Venus who does this and he kicks ass

For a int build the difference is considerable, for a STR build the difference is almost none.
What about the status that light nuke gives? It increases your damage much? Yes
Eh, no. The shock effect from lightning imbue almost does not change your damage.

But not all euros have maxed cleric, and if they don't, they cannot be immune on a 1vs1 pvp fight.

The shock effect from lightning imbue is so minuscule that it's hardly noticeable.

A lot of the reason I'm going Ice imbue instead of light is because of the status. The damage difference is not significant. It helps a lot while grinding, but it also can be very annoying in PVP. (I've always been on the opposite end of the attack, so I know how annoying it is to be frozen/frost bitten constantly.)

Euro's are meant to have 2 lvl 90 skill mastery's. Leaving one at "70-80" doesn't make any sense. Sure you could add bard which would give you noise. But overall your character would be weakened considerably.

A euro with cleric only needs one accessory with ice immunity to be immune. The effect that maxed imbue has is 3 higher than the resistance you get from max'd holy spell.

im not saying some1 will do it, im saying that it
can be done i.e., the 80% immunity does not exist for chinese only(some1 b4 me said 80% im not sure tho)

i like light better, it looks cooler, it increases your damage (any good player you can pvp is ice imune anyway, if not hes either kind of a noob or hes a euro without cleric sub).
some skills like the level 73 chain at sword, shield that give statusses, give them to two people at the time thought lightning splash ^^ pretty usefull in group pvp i guess.
In the end you'll just have to see how the pro's and con's fit with the build you plan on choosing and make a decision ^^
