Hey ive decided to try i bow characterinstead of another blader or glaiver, and i was wondering the kind of build i should use

Any help, which skill trees and int or str?

Full str fire.

90-Fire
90-Pacheon
60-Lightning
60-Force/Ice (defense)

Hey, good for you. Archers are a lovely build Since im in a good mood today ill help ya out.

Ok first get all the pacheon skills except autumn wind, strong bow and the black hawk.

What you wanna do is fire anti devil as your first arrow against an enemy, since it crits 1/3 times with the first two books and a deasent crit bow, youre gonna want to do maximum damage to them before they reach you. What i do is first fire anti devil, then berserk, and arrow combo to finish them off.

Going ice or fire? Thats your choise, but fire is best for pvp, period

If you have the extra sp (farmed maybe?) then first of all you should focus on getting the lightning buffs as extra skills. Grasswalk is a must, im sure you know the other buffs. The cold buff combined with the passive also makes a nice extra defense at higher lvls. (60+)

Oh yeah, and you should go pure str.

I'm agreeing with resist on almost everything save the black hawk thing. Oh and if you don't want to do fire, go for ice instead it's good too

Currently lvl 48 Pure Str Ice Bow here if you need help just ask

Max out Berserker and Anti Devil and Arrow Combo. The Distance Lengthening move at lvl 19's a great help too

The AR boost from the white and blue hawk is said to have better total damage, than the black.

its up to u... im a hybrid but i specify on int the most... and i love my dmg boz of my imbues and with the strong bow

if your going archer you must take strongbow, this skill P@wnz all, its crit is godly, granted it might not be good for in the middle of pvp, but use it to start off a battle, for example if your ice, throw up your crystal wall, strongbow, then imbue right before you launch it, use arrow combo to slow them down, then anti devil and zerk arrow and they will be hurting. With strongbow crit i can 1 hit mobs my lvl and with strongbow then autumn wind flame or zerk and the combo i finish them off vs using antidevil zerk combo then anti devil atleast to kill a mob your lvl

I heard strong bow was good for PVE but useless in PVP most of the times. Read the guides, but in the end it's your choice and your character. I'm currently an Ice/Fire/Str Archer and made my own build, which strangely enough is similar to the popular builds.

you can say its wrong at so many levels but you don't give any reason for it........ if it was so wrong at many lvls, i wouldn't be 1 hitting nukers 3-7 lvls above me would i?

Ice wall: throw it up in guild wars or pvps, and you have an extra hit or 2 against nukers and glaivers and a bunch of hits against archers or bladers.

Autumn wind: suks at first but get it to book 3 which you get at 53 i believe and then the percent damage rating is 250% it also pierces through 3 enemies in 1-2 m wide line. also it is aoe around you approximately45-75 degrees in front and in back, so if your being mobbed in back and front it hits them both.

Try them, i dare you.

What about berserker arrow? Book 3 has more damage than Autumn wind book 3 right? Plus, you get additional attack rating.

Can't berserker arrow hit the mob in front and at the back?

Book 3 for Autumn wind is @ Lv 58.

The three main skills for an archer is anti devil, arrow combo and berseker. The reason not to go strongbow is because it takes four seconds to fire. In those four seconds you can fire anti devil+berserk, which will do more total dmg, not to mention anti devil will crit most of the time.

Yes the 3rd book of berserk is nuts, and i cant wait to test it!
Berserk btw also damages enemys around the target.

And yes autumn wind sucks, dont get that shit

If you go int and fire skill, you should use some ice skills to slow down any mobs, or else you need a lot of HP potions cos your HP isn't that high for a pure int.
