Hey all. Just made a s/s hybrid a week ago and just trying to get my head around the skill allocation of this build. I am planning to go 90/90 bich, fire. 60/60 light, cold. I might make it cold lvl 70 or 80 but depends on farming and when i actually get to lvl 90 (lvl 35 atm 5 gap opening to 9 farming 100k sp). Just thinking about 100cap, which is apparently coming out next year and wondering what i would go as, 100/100/100 cold/fire/bich or bich/cold/light. not too keen on deleveling lvl 90 fire but i guess i could do it. Just wondering what you guys think or if you have a hybrid s/s with any advice or perks.

EDIT: Just realised i have only put 10 lvls of str so far so i think im 8:1, would ice/bich/cold still be affective with that much hybrid?? just thinking about my options

so ur having trouble deciding between 100 fire and 100 light?

its up to you fire nukes supposedly cast faster, fire tree has 2-3 nukes at lvl 100, mag defense buff, and phy dmg buffs(u r hybrid).

while light tree has 1-2 nukes(not sure if it actually has 2 nukes but 1 definitely ), speed+teleport( u gotta love the green/blue zipping), and mag dmg buffs.


fire gives u more defense so u become like a tank when snow shield is on, meaning u will be very good at 1v1.

light gives u speed+mobility meaning u probably wont get hit alot and will do gr8 at grp pvp and wars.

hmm thats about all i can think of right now but my point is take whichever tree it is u think suits ur style....good luck deciding

But doesn't fire have a longer range then lightning nukes?

yes fire has longer range and better damage.

you should stick to fire.

i suggest do not get ur light to 60, just leave it to 30 and get 90ice instead of 60, so that in this case you will have a little deleveling to do when 100cap comes.

having ice90 is much better than having ice at 60 cuz u can tank better(which is the most important thing in sro).

Just go bich/fire/cold lv100 and you will be doing fine. both good in 1on1 and Group fight.

At any cap above 90, light will give only one strong nuke, the other ones will be several levels below, and therefore will all be weak.

I just wanted to add that this is your opinion, in the end what matters is what he prefers. Neither one is "the best". It's all up to personal preferences.

flame wave burning and hellfire have a longer range but flame wave wide is shorter

Ont: It really is personal preference lightning will tank a bit better and fire will hit a bit harder. Either way a 7:1 S/S is a decent tank and dmg dealer. If you are seriously in doubt you should choose by what type of armor you want to wear. For the fire tree as a main you should wear protector and for the light tree as a main you should wear garments.

Thanks for your feedback guys, all sounds good will most likely leave light at 30 maybe up to 40 just until i get to lvl 90 since its a while away
