what is so good about being a bard ? are they like awesome at fortress or something at high lvs?

-Fastest casting nukes in the game (other than shouts) so can KS a lot of people
-speed buffs >100% in robes
-tambours
-dancing in a party gives nice +30% to various attacks like mag dmg, phy dmg, and AR
-quick to level, a pure bard can 1-2 gap all the way and not even farm
-absolute damage skills
-grinding with no MP usage

Just a few thoughts.

its kinda hard being bard if you have to solo all the time in servers like hercules where everyone is botting and noone wants to pt with me >.<

That, or level your cleric, put in party matching system "FREE LVL X CLERIC WILL HEAL YOU, JUST WANT PT" Be creative, there are ways to do it if you want to stick with your server.

That's one of the ways I leveled up. Yes, grinding is boring, but Chinese do it a lot more than Euros do. Bard grinding to me is a lot of fun, although you have to grind on things about 2-3 levels lower than you depending on your gear. Go sub cleric, get RD @ 40 and have fun. Holy Word helps remove statuses and you can use cure melody when you're barding. Tambours help reduce damage, your nukes cast fast, you can mana cycle and reduce your MP usage. To me a bard is a slightly underpowered wizard with more survivability (depends on your sub, of course).
