hello...i have a lv 27 nuker ... full int right now - 81 points added int..i decided to do it hybrid spear...but i dnt know what...i was thinking to 5 int 1 str..its this good for pvp and pve ? i pvp alot...i saw that the hybrid nukers PWN..but what hybrid ? i plvl my self till lv 65..something like that..with my bigger character so str points isnt my problem oh..my build will be LV 90 HEUKSAL/ICE/LIGHT and 30 fire

i was thinking on 7:1 / 5:1 ... come1 guys give me more opinions

im currently lvl 50 pure int, and going 7:1 starting now, your hp is alot better for a tiny dmg sacrifice, which when your FF with a decent weapon wont be much at all.

hybrid 7 : 1 its mag balance 89 and phy balance 57 ... its good ?
hp - 8098 , mp - 20160 ... lv 90 naked it sounds good for me...but i need EXPERIENCED guys that have tried this kind of hybrid... thx

I had 8:1 int hyb spear and did very good in both pvp & pve. 7:1 int hyb has only 3 str points more than 8:1 so it's basically the same and still is good.

i think im going to 7:1 ... idk it sounds good..and like kreisimess said...7:1 haves only 3 more str points then 8:1 ... its not a big deal..ok and now...can u guys show me some videos on pve and pvp with hybrids in action ? oh .. and should i wear garment on 9d ?

Isn't it better for hybrid spear to do 90 heuskal / fire and 60 ice / light?

Well since ur light/cold/heuksal u need a higher mag balance then a fire user. So something like 7:1. Altough it doesnt really matter, when u dont like 5:1 u can make it 7:1 or something else pretty easy. Thats the great thing bout hybrids IMO u can change ur ratio's when u feel like it.

But in the end a higher mag balance preforms better prolly for a heuksal/light/cold/

Pure int spear is almost as fragile as a pure int wizard. And your damage will never be nearly as high. If that is what you are looking for, then go for pure int wizard/cleric.

A 7:1 hybrid is a little less fragile, but still fragile. That is barely even hybridizing. I think the strongest spear build for PvP is the 70/70 build. That is where you put in just enough str and int to make your physical balance like 69%, and your physical balance at 70%, naked. It is almost a 2:1 build but with a little more str. I am there now at lvl 65, and it is an awesome build. Can take on pure str glaives and out tank them, and out damage them. And can take several hits from a nuker and survive.

If you are afraid you might end up sacrificing too much damage for survivability doing this, then just forget it and go pure int wizard, you'll have no regrets.

And yes, always weapon/light/cold for int-heavy builds.

i have a lv 80 wizard ... im tired of it .. im farming a character now..hei .. but a s/s full int nuker isnt better then a hybrid ?

I don't think so. Pure int s/s are gimped wizards with a shield. If that build appeals to you, go with it. If you want something with higher survivability and still good damage output, go hybrid. The more hybridization the better.

I am building what was 2:1 int s/s, but I have been converting it into something closer to 70/70, by adding even more strength. The build is at lvl 52, can still one shot mobs 2 levels below, and has very good survivability. What pure build advocates (I used to be one) don't realize is that balancing str and int gives you better tanking ability against 2 different damage types.

With snow shield, a pure int s/s nuker can usually survive long enuf to kill enemies. IMO, pure int s/s works fine, and hybridising isn't needed. A spear user should hybridise to at least a 7:1 tho.

BTW, dont get me wrong, nothing wrong with hybrid s/s.
