I would say armor or protector since you're pure int, BUT everyone has told me to go garm since
1. once snow is down, you die
2. for grinding, you can last longer outside...though I don't last more than 30 minutes...
3. Garms are (supposedly) over-powered...

But if you're full farmed, at least if you had a prot. set on, that means you can use a lower level of snow shield...I use Book 2 maxed instead of book three for pvp since there's nothing worse than starting a nuke, taking damage...and being out of mp...

But anyway, prot would be better. Garm is what most people would tell you to get. 1 armor and 1 garm set if you're rich though. =P

As you are a pure int, any of those would do very good. Choose the one which you prefer it's looks. You'll probably only survive because of snow shield while pvping, so any of those would do good. As a pure int I think you can keep your MP up while with maxed snow shield even in protector.

For pve, u could go with pretty much any of them, except maybe armor at higher lvls. Wearing protector will make physicals mobs hit a little less on u, tho i prefer garms for the magical defence. Either way, with snow shield on, u should be fine.
Wish the best for raphaell666

if he is only fighting mag. mobs he will be able to tank 3-4 of them his own lvl since they will be doing minimal damage.

he is fire adding to that: additional mag. defence

Ontopic: i guess prot would be best:
cold: phys. defence
+
prot: balanced phys/mag defence
+
fire: mag defence

meaning you are prepared for any fight with a decent amount of protection

imo
armor would only be if your rich and can afford multiple sets for pvping str's
garment gives mp less consumption and speed but lacks phys def
protector offers good balance of everything
