my wizard just hit level 80 and shes a FF wiz/cleric. im having a damned time figuring out a nice skill bar for PvE and PvP..could you possible show me your skill bars so i can have a general idea of what they look like?

PvE- Fire bolt, Frozen spear, Earth Quake, Blizzard

PvP- Meteor, Earth Quake, Blizzard

I am lvl 86. This is for PVE:



I use fire bolt and frozen spear most of the time while grinding.

I change F1 and F2 slightly for PVP:



This is because I prefer having staff on the left in PVP so I can use mouse with right hand to target. Also, I need to have mana drain on F1 so I can see its cooldown.

Choose what you put in the extra tool bar carefully. I have emergency heals and vigor there for when I am in danger, and hp pot so I know if it is in cooldown. If you didn't know already, you can use skills on the floating bar by holding space and pressing 1-0. So recovery would be <select self, hold space, 1-2>.

my bard attacks are on F4.


for PvE i usually use firebolt and frozen spear, and if im feeling confident ill also use earthquake but that depends on if i have a cleric with me or not.

for pvp, depends, if the target is easy and i dont wanna kill anyone else around it ill use firebolt, if not meteor+earthquake. If its a tough target like a blader, usually meteor+salamander or charged squall(if they're coming at me )+meteor+salamander.

Meteor+salamander usually kills just about anyone unless they're bieng heavily buffed...

I'm not a wizard/cleric, but here is the setup for my wizard skills. The yellow area is controlled with my mouse buttons and the red with my left hand.

PvE and traderuns

If I'm in a party I use the first 4 skills and when I solo I usually use the 3 last skills in the red rectangle. Kinda self explanatory. Just an easy switch of my hand's position.

Extra bar

Skills and other things I like to always have in reach (same purpuse as the skills I keep in the mouse area on the F1 and F2 bars). I change the use of the spot where the MP pot is depending of what I'm doing.

id show u mine , but i cant login due to traffic
but i the ones posted above are cool ones ... 1 belt buff , another heal , 3rd wizzi and 4th pots and other

Just curious, isn't it kind of hard to teleport with mouse button when it's the mouse cursor that decides where you go? Personally I find it easier on X (middle mouse button), and vigor on 0 or something..

for euro i have tele on mouse and vigors in extra tool slots
