What masteries would be best for my 90:40 str hybrid bower? Currently I have:

-80 pacheon
-70 fire
-65 light
-51 ice
-7 heuksai (>_> dunno)

I'm thinking about going at the cap:

-90 pacheon
-90 fire
-90 light
-30 cold

OR:

-90 pacheon
-90 fire
-72 light
-48 cold

OR:

-90 pacheon
-90 fire
-90 light
-30 heuksai (hp increase)

Which one of those do you think is best in pvp?

I'm also open to new suggestions. Thanks!

I think you need to get more out of ice. I'd recommend the 90 fire/pacheon 72 ice 48 light. It's great for PvP because of all the defense and of course the fire imbue. And besides, you're on the str side of hybrid, you don't need light at 72

Your weapon mastery needs to be highest possible imo.

+1 Your weapon mastery must be as high as possible, otherwise don't take it at all. Note that STR builds must have a weapon mastery.

I find bowers lacking phy. def..so anything with higher ice would be better. sure they can kb..but when they get stun there HP drops fast

I see what you mean. I think I'll go with that build once I get farking 300 cursed hearts to d-lvl my light.

EDIT: The 90pach/90fire/72cold/48light option is added to poll.

Ice is pretty useless (cept for snow) until 60, when the buff increases from 24 to 42.

And at 60 the passive increases 18 to 42.

So lv58 ice gives you 42 physical defense, and lv60 ice gives you 84.

On the other hand, your a hybrid, so light is good to have as a higher level skill. Mabye Pacheon 90 fire 90 light60 cold60?

Infact, it would save you an insane amount of SP to go with fire90 at 100cap.

This is one of the issues I'm facing...I want to farm an archer for 100cap, but I am already working on a s/s nuker.

More int=less defense, can use Higher snow shield
Which messes with the benefits of light, as the more int you have the higher light should be.

For 100 cap I'd go 100pacheon/100fire/100-70cold/0-30light for max defense and both fire and ice walls but still good damage.

He's a hybrid. He will deal a considerable amount of damage coming from the imbue, it'll probably be a waste to go with 90 imbue at 100 cap.

You are deeply wrong. In fact no hybrid Chinese build is weak if you use the correct masteries and hybrid bowers have proven to be strong at different caps so far.

Eh, no. That's a negative. In fact at current cap a lot of pure ints are going for 90bicheon/90fire/90cold/30light, simply because 30 light is enough.
