im planning on creating 1:1 hybrid s/s. with masteries fire/bich 100 and light 40 cold60. for 100cap and 72cold 48 light at 90cap. what do u think? or should I go for spear?

i know many ppl will say this build will suck. why would it will suck when chinese characters are meant to be hybrid.

For hybrid 1:1 the masteries you mentioned are good enough I believe. You should aim for higher ice at 100 cap though.

I have a 1:1 hybrid bow and I love it ^^

You will have less HP but more damage.

I've seen 1:1 spear/glavies and bows, never seen a blader/sword one ... I think it will be good

My first char i had on Aege was a 1:1

The attack was a good mix of crits and moderate/good normal damage
the tankability was not so good,
but:

with ice and fire you sure can cause havoc before anything gets you down

Edit: i can say this only for 1-40... couldnt get further cos it got hacked

any more opinions?

I think it'll work, go for it. I'm sure with 72 Ice you'll be able to tank just fine. In PvP you'll have enough HP to survive and enough MP to use at least 30% snow shield, possibly higher

it looks like good mastery choices

Maybe a lil bit more light since it's hibrid it gets a lot of damage increase from imbue..
