Need your help everyone. I am trying to find a topic/website or just a plain old definition of what a "tank" is... I know that a tank is someone who can take on alot of enemies at the same time and withstand their damage, while dealing out some respectable damage of their own. I made a post in the silk forums called "Fastest Powerlvl". And someone is trying to tell me that a wizard can be a tank... Just a plain wizard is not a tank, a wizard with cleric subclass maybe, but not a wizard by itself. Any links or tips would be great, thank you in advance.

At power leveling, the wizard will be fighting mobs which are way lower than his level, so he will be able to tank them. Your definition of tank is pretty much right.

if you can "tank" something, it means you can stand there and be hit by them without dying. basically, you can get hit by them until you run out of pots, thats the only way its going to kill you.

Basicaly in sro a tank is a char that cannot be 1-hit by a mob its level or just above. Only dies on those mobs when pots run out.

A tank is an armoured vehicle used in the army and navy. It has been used in many wars and is generally used to fire rockets at enemies.

Lol .. so you are telling me that wizard/cleric are tank cuz he can kill giant or party mob at his level with bless spell ? This is not tank .. Tank is blader .. - he can survive cuz:
1. Full STR - a lot of HP
2. Shield - more def and a block chance
3. Have knock-down so the mob cant hit him
4. Can debuff with bleed and division while using combo
5. Dont have potion delay
6. If use Cold he will have Snow Shield

Glavers too can be tanks:
1. Full STR
2. Cheolsam Force skill - at level 9 give +2800HP
3. Have stun,knock-back and dull
4. Make more dmg than bladers
5. Dont have potion delay
6. + Snow Shield (if use Cold)

Warrior/Cleric can be a tank too ,cuz he have:
1. Recovery Division,Healing Orbit and Bless Spell. Recovery Division is better than potions..
2. Also Vital Increse skill for more HP.
3. Have knock-down and stun skills.
4. The skills % is higher than chineese one
5. Taunt skill - this is the perfect skill for the "tank" we are talking ... All the enemies come at this char in the same time.
