im currently farming a character.. and was interested in making a dual axe/cleric. But i rarely see any at higher lvls..everyone is just 1h or 2h.

Your thoughts?

Mostly its because it doesnt have any obvious benefits like 1h or 2h does. 1h has its increased tanking ability and 2h has its high dmg. Axe has neither of these. Sure it does good dmg, but it not quite good enough. Sure it lets you stun loads and has a defence increase passive, but its not quite enough. I think axe is very underrated personally and it shines when fighting warlocks and other builds that need status's to kill, like other warriors. But mostly it is just used to give bleed before the warrior gets out his 2h to finish off his foe.

hmm ok thanks. you think Dual axe by itself without 2h would still be good? cause im sorta on a sp budget and rather not farm.

I think you would need either 1h or 2h in addition to axe to kill, 1h can give full and then axe would be strong enough to kill, just as axe can give bleed which would made 1h strong enough to kill, or 1h + 2h for the same reason, or 2h + axe, either way, I think your going to have to farm more then 1 weapon tree.

ah kk.. i think ill go with 1h/dual.. i really dont like 2h..just cause there is sooo many of them around..and boring skills. Thanks for your help.much appricieted.

1h is the best tank (out of the 3 weapons).
2h is the strongest.
DA is just in the middle of the two.

my friend has a lvl 72 dual axe cleric
he does better then i thought he would do in pvp against any class
get a good crit weapon
i think it is actualy good

maybe no one fancies fighting like Gimli?

DA/1H

Sudden Twist for Bleed
1H for dull
Heaven Flash for Bind

Cunning stab's damage is doubled, and bleed-ed.
