69;70 Bicheon

Post by MiKz »

So i was reading up on the 69:70 spear build, not getting much of a response there so i figured ide ask in here. Question is, how would a s/s compare to a spear with the same 69;70 build? i wanna know what the advantages/disadvantages would be of being a s/s instead of a spear. The mag/phys def is an obvious one.
For sure s/s would tank more, has higher defense and blocking and what not.
The damage from nukes would be shitty, but division would help it.
For spear, threes an HP passive, higher damage but less tank ability.
This isn't exactly a nuking build so im not too concerned about them.
Anything else?

Comments and advices are welcome.
Thanks in advance

I think you have understood most of the pros and cons of a 70:70 sword. the only thing I can add is that when compared to a full str blader, you have less HP to tank and your crit will be lower, although your non crit dmg from weapon may be higher than a blader's. It is with this thought, many were reluctant to try this build. I am unaware if any had tried this till 90cap and shared their story.

Back in the 70-cap, this build was sometimes called the Dragon-Sword Hybrid ( a catchy name :D )

But that was the 70-cap. Intel builds did not have snow shield back then, so a reasonably strength-heavy hybrid is recommended for people who likes PVP ( without a healthy HP, winning against fire glavie back in the 70-cap was nearly impossible ) . Now pure int is on the rise, due to snowshield.

IMHO a more int-heavy hybrid is better ( when snow went out, just run :D )

What I believe is this: If you want to go nuker s/s, then go pure int. As far as I know you seriously won't need any extra hp to be able to tank, and being pure int your mag damage will be maxed. As a spear, however, if you go pure int, your defense and survivability will be very low when snow shield is off. Hence I suggest going hybrid because the extra HP will really come in handy. I don't think 69:70 bicheon is a good idea, so I'd not suggest it. I don't see much problem in trying it anyways, it would be pretty unique, and even if I have my doubts about its strength, who knows? If you are going to try it, then try with 90bicheon/90fire/72cold/48light in garment. I believe it's what I'd suggest.

not too much of a difference having light at 72 i would rather have SSfreeze. 72 light is pointless imo since i wont even be getting light nukes, and i can live with having low speed.
I just want something suited for fire imbue that is int based, with that i know ide have to sacrifice a bit of defense, that is why im hybridizing.
pure int s/s is just as fragile goin up against a strong str char even with the shield+ phys def increase for 15 secs after their snow is gone IMO. Sure u can spam KD, but its not gonna work every time.

i know someones bound to say "go pure str if u want fire imbue."... ehh no

nice vid, but why was he using a blade? lol

I guess he is using a blade because of his phy balance, or maybe it just has a nice crit.
I would go 1:8 or 2:7 sword with fire/ice, it has decent survivability, fire imbue, and it will give you a little more hp to play around with in the "dead zone" between snow, since the only way an s/s can really survive that is if they have perfect gear, their opponent doesnt crit/get a status, they manage to kd/wall till snow recharges or get impotent on their enemy, at least with some more hp you wont have to rely on these strategies so much, and lets face it, division and bleed are overkill, you can easily sacrifice a small amount of your mag balance for more hp and still be able to kill. :)

Hmm, in that case I would probably go 1:2 spear rather then 1:2 bicheon, just because bicheon relies on the nukes to kill as none of its skills do much in the way of dmg, as you can see in that video with NEJI_X he just wore down the warriors hp until he died, and in the blader fight im sorta surprised he was actually able to kill him, I personally didnt think his dmg out put would be high enough. :/

You dont think so? He will leech all the damage he can from imbue.
Imbue means shit for full STR.

Spoiler!

I really would love to see int hybrid/pure int KD damage with different imbue^^

I think 70:70 damage lies between pure str and int hybrid damage.Too bad we dont have damage calculator on character

IMO,this build is good vs STR based,im afraid the damage on int with shield and garment would be too low due to their high mag def and 70:70 low phy attack.ZzzZZZzz :banghead:

What do you mean? Pure int deals the highest damage at cap 90, generally can do 10k-13k damage w/ KD skill (hidden blade series) on another chinese char (not buffed by euro). The damage of the hybrid would depend on the hybrid.

70:70 is a int hybrid.

Trying a similar build now. I have gone 2:1 int hybrid s/s. Lvl 50, atm. Do fairly well in CTF. Too nervous to go 70/70 with this with the already decreased damage, but perhaps I shouldn't be, especially now when I could easily switch back.

Really curious on how your 1:1 hybrid goes, muyo. Keep us posted, would you, please?

i think he meant he'd like to see a compared pure int damage between ice, light and fire imbues on the knock down moves, to see what a difference they truly make
