Dagger/Bard? :P

So, I'm starting on Ares server with some friends.. He's getting his char to Lv60-64 and start farming at huns. My original plan is to farm a Dagger/Bard. I was thinking it would be easy to grind w/ Dagger becausse I'd have speed, noise, and good dmg with combos. I've only seen a few on Zeus server and I love being out of the crowd. So... Anyone that's done it could you help me out? I'll easily be plvled to probly around 40ish so I'll have to solo from there. (I'm a solo-er not a party-er) xD

So many people say go with xbow rogue for soloing cuz it has range but with bard's speed and if the mob has good spawns, Imo a Dagger rogue would lvl just as fast.. PLUS with Scud you can have even more speed. Opinions plz?

The thing about dagger is that is's a melee weapon, hence even if you move very fast, it's still far from the efficiency of a xbow rogue who just stand still and snipe the mobs. Also, with DD, you're pretty much very vulnerable against mobs ( as you're melee, they will bound to hit you quite often ), and without DD, well, a warrior would have more damage.

But it's by no means a slow soloer at all. It's probably the fastest melee soloer IMHO.

for dagger/bard you dont need to farm at all. Because of bard skills you only need noise and moving march. It is better to farm some sp and then go and xbow and dagger. You can have both weapons.

Yeah you will need both RK, it shouldnt be hard with a constant 2-3 gap. Problem with daggers is that giants or champs will own you if you get attacked by more then 1 mob at once.

True. Rogues are somewhat fragile if compared to warriors. I believe that when fighting giants/champs/multiple mobs the only thing you'll need to do is deactivate DD and use vigor and/or grains. I'm not sure but I think you'll then be able to handle it. Anyways, I'd suggest you to farm both xbow and dagger skills, so you'll be way better at pretty much everything, including soloing.

Yeah, the only reason i was going to farm is so i could cleanly 0 gap with all the dagger skills. And like I said, I like being out of the crowd, so i might just farm both and do xbow only when needed. Thanks.
