fire instead of light?

for a pure int spear, should i go fire and ice instead of lightning and ice? or is it best to stay the normal ice/lightning? the question really is... if i take fire instead of lightning, will losing that 16% magic damage increase buff make that big of a difference? or will the fire imbune and higher damage fire nukes make up for it?

It's 16%...A pure int spear can hit like what? around 18k on a glaive char at 90...So that would be 18k x 0.84 = 15.1k
I wouldn't give it up if I were you but on the other hand I like being different so it could be a nice build.

The 330% Fire nuke compensates the lost % of magical damage increase. But the spear skills and other nukes don't.

The fire imbue already compensates the lost % of magical damage increase.

Lets face it, spear gets owned by nukers without fire, and it gets owned by str without ice, take 'em both so you have optimal defence, and then you can also cast fan storm and bring out your shield to enjoy a nice 15 seconds of being a wall.
