wizard has the most damage
so warlock pretty much is useless
its good
but something else would be much better

I think this build would be overkill. I've watched some YouTube videos before. Someone just stun, sleep, division... Then switched to staff and one-hit the guy.

The build is possible, but it's a lot of SP. :banghead:

Depends on the gear and build, honestly. At high levels, if someone has good gear, they can survive a few hits from a wizard.

still, just invest in bard or cleric, so much more rewarding.

It's good I guess... I pvp'd against one and they put me to sleep then fire nuked me. But ehh, they already are strong enough...

For bosses, I recall using:
DoT Spells (Warlock) -> Stun -> Life Turnover/Control (Wizard) -> Nukes (Wizard)
Life Turnover/Control actually increases the damage of your Warlock DoT spells.

HP potions are almost unnecessary in PvM (at least up to level 23 or so). Warlock spells allow you to have control over your enemy, then absorb HP when necessary.

This build is extremely taxing, so you have to think to yourself "Will I use the two equally?" If you will, then by all means make this build, but if you will dominantly use one tree, stick with that tree only. Keep in mind this is why we don't see a lot of Bard/Cleric builds.

Wizard/bard < wizard/warlock < wizard/cleric

But wiz/lock is still big fun to play with :)

I am sorry but isn't wizard/bard > wizard/cleric due to mana regeneration? Why is wizard/cleric better than wiz/bard again?

Wiz/bard is not for the mana regen. As far as i know, no one actually switch to bard to buff mana, and then to wiz again to nuke. But Noise and Speed buff will help a wizard player A LOT, as wizards are weak physically, they need to escape dangerous situations and avoid being gang-banged. Speed helps tremendously when jobbing, much more so when you're solo-jobbing.

Wiz/cleric is pretty good PVE and PVP-wise as well. Bless spell is perfect against giants and to ensure the the wizard does not get one-hitted in PVP. Not too much to say here, really.

Wiz/lock is a build with much porential, i may say. Here currently at the 90 cap, with a decent gear, people do not get 1-hitted by wizards anymore. Lock, therefore, adds the much-needed addtional firepower to a wizard so that they remain the 1-hitter during PVP. At the 100-cap in the future, they may be the only class capable of 1-hitting full-strength / snowshield int / SUN users etc.
