Tri-Element S/S nuker

Post by crackman »

After reading numerous guides about s/s nukers, much of the debate has been on ice/light and fire/light. Obviously ice/light will have more physical defense, and survival, but dealing overall much less damage. With fire/light, the player will have higher magic defense, high damage, status reduction and somewhat useful fire combustion but will be prone to death due to low physical defense. Lightning is an obvious for many people because of movement speed, blink and magic amp buff. Bicheon mastery, imo is only good for the block ratio for shields, a kd/stab i dont think is very useful for a s/s nuker.

I have been considering creating a tri-element nuker, using three forces, fire ice and lightning. Ice for its physical defense and snow shield, fire for its damage, magic defense and status reduction, and lightning for speed and movement. I plan on using lightning imbue for its parry reduction for higher consistency in damage, since nukes do not crit.

Though using a sword shield, i plan on not getting bicheon mastery because it is useful only for its mastery. With this tri-element build i hope to achieve, high phys/magic defense, speed, and damage.

With the addition of Euro characters, I'd like to know which Euro character's buffs will outrule the Chinese buffs eg. march and blessed spirit(i think thats what its called)

Any input from experience or constructive criticism would be appreciated.

nukers without bicheon in pvp= fail..specially vs euro...u have no way to stop any of there atk..just nuke, nuke while u are being kb,stun...bicheon is the MOST important thing about a s/s nuker...kd/stab..can stop other atk..allowing to regain some HP.
I have seen only Ice/Fire/Light nukers...and they get interrupted a LOT by stun/kb...thats something that you can't afford to be doing since nukes have a slow casting time.

obviously, we dont know the gears on both players, wether they are farmed or not, but +9 and +7 is not a huge difference like sun vs normal..

the tri-force pure int killed the glavier, i agree 3 nukes is boring but not too bad, and probably less farming than bicheon

that was boring and badly played the nuker cud've finished it sooner if he popped up ice wall a little or zip'd to avoid some of the kb's

regardless its still a good example of how this build can work

Lol..The int wouldve died if the glaive knew how to pvp...He's spamming SSE and ghost spear while he should use SSE/SSS and windless spear, using fan storm etc...If he did that the nuker would've been toast after his snow because he doesn't have any phy def increase buff.

well since this has kind of went off track, I understand shield block ratio is very important but i dont see leveling a mastery up to 90 for just the passive skill

Bicheon is not only the passive...It's the knockdown, the stabs, the statusses, the phy def increase skill. It's your char but I would really think twice about it. And going garm gives you abit more def against other nukers, and believe me, a nuke against a s/s in garm does not much.

given i go two elements and bicheon, which elements would go well with bicheon armor, with bicheon garment? also the physical defense increase doesnt last very long and i think it makes you immobile?

castle shield doesn't make you immobile and it lasts 15 seconds. and go protector cause you already have more mag defense(if you're pure int) and armor is too slow :P i'm going ice, light, bicheon 90 and fire 30. bicheon is very useful because of the passive which adds block rating, the combos which give statuses to your opponent, castle wall which although lasts a short time gives you good defense and last but not least knockdown and stab which IMO are the best skills of bicheon and have saved me many a time. it's your choice but i'd choose to have bicheon.

your s/s will be worthless without bicheon, the KD and stab is what sets it apart from other builds

+1

Lol, I can't believe some1 would actually compare that retarded glavier with that nuker,,,,right from the start its easy to tell that the glavier has no idea what he is doing,,,,

i see that msot of u support a light/cold s/s nuker but i think that is too defensive, without much offensive strikers. lightning nukes are strong but u cant kill anyoen with just one nuke, and the ice nuke does low damage. kd is going to do massive damage i dont think so. i know this build would have high surival rate but im not sure how this build will make much kills. imo i think nukers need at least 2 powerful nukes to do some damage. ive only had experence with nukers at 80 cap, i was a 79 fire blader

tbh by the time u reach cap the only build that can really 1 hit ppl is a wiz on life turnover.
if u really wanna experience the 1 hit kill ur best bet wud be either wiz or rogue since euro skills r mostly overpowered in 1 particular area.
pvp for chinese is generally longer as no build can do TOO much dmg. EG- a force glavier has insane dmg but a nuker can tank it with snow
well its just my opinion good luck deciding

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=76353&hilit=+nuker+without+weapon

those are 2 good topics you should look at. i would go for pure nuker without weapon, ice and fire wall will let you nuke without getting kd/kb, stun. plus later caps no new pot is coming, meaning it will be harder for str to fill their hp when they have only Xlarge pot to use and ~40k hp or more later caps (100 etc) with nukers pulling around 25k per nuke.

there arent many of this build in isro, the few there are they cant really play the build well. so not much example here. go for it and post vids of your pvp :)

You only need 1 nuke and your kd's/stabs...You got the combo and the 2hit skill (4th skill, first row) to give bleed/impotent/division. Then you can finish it with a nuke and some stabs.

i wud say
fire the most dmging imbue+light buff=awsome dmg

besides afaik light imbue is the most inconsistent since dmg is random and parry effect is easy to pill off
