Heya,
I've got a rouge and me and my friend are in a debate as to whether i should go bard or cleric for my subclass. As it stands we have come to the conclusion that Bard is best is you are a unique hunter (noise and speed) but cleric is better for pvp (buffs, defense etc), but i still think i need more advise.

SO

Tell me what you think would be best as a sub class for Rouge and why!

I think bard, I think you need to move quickly as euro, I dont think cleric cause you also have a lot of hp since youre full str.

And when youre hunting uniques there will always be a cleric.

Rogue/cleric is awesome in pvp.

cleric offers very little for rogue since you lose all your defense when you use DD or Crossbow Extreme; bard is more useful

Jobs, fortress wars etc...no idea. I'm a 49 Rogue/Cleric, and I think I'll switch to Bard. Cleric is a great sub, even though a rogue won't benefit as much of it as any other character, it'll still save your life once in a while. The most important reason I'm switching is that with the Cleric sub I'm still easy to kill (even though it takes 1/2 shots more) and then I'll prefer speed over 1 extra hit.

By the way, what do speed potions 100% cost?

the only thing that rogue/cleric is better at is 1 v 1
besides that bard takes the cake
and if there is another bard you can use the dmg increase buff

rouge + warlock = ownage!

+1, but you can probably still tank using cleric when without DD or CE.

I'd say bard would do better in general.

Ermm, I dunno, something around 150k I guess.
50% speeds are 91k, not that much

Depends on your style of play. Bard is great for PVE and Cleric is great for PVP.
I had a rogue once (got bored playing her) and I went with a cleric sub. She was tough to kill in PVP but I didn't really use the sub much while grinding. It only comes in handy with giants because you can put bless and recovery division on (which, btw, the mp to cast that spell sucks for a pure str). It's a lot of SP to farm if you want both weapons and cleric sub.

Bard on the other hand will help out with grinding and unique hunting. You'll be able to run fast and have aggro protection, but that's all it offers. With my xbow, even though I didn't have noise, I could still grind on higher level mobs with xbow extreme on. Bard just makes it easier and save you pots. If you use daggers, I think noise would be more helpful.

Both are good subs though. They both offer something good, it all just depends on your gaming style.

for rogue bard is better then cleric at everything besides 1 v 1 pvp.
jobbing its huge to have the speed in stealth and to just get away
wars speed helps again to get around fast and dmg increase
and really .. its not hard to find another cleric
they are everywhere and im sure there will always be one in your party either jobbing or pvping
