Looking for input on my new build

I think I saw this build somewhere else in the site. Here is the basic idea:

Weapon: Blade/Shield AND Spear
Stats:1:2(str:int) or all int
skills: fire main/light sub, blade and spear skill trees(chain attacks, passives)

I was just wondering how I should go with stats, armor, and what skills you think would be necessary.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated :P

(Hoping I could make this a nuker)

If you're hybrid int, don't go Blade. Go with a sword. Also, I recommend sticking to one weapon tree, especially as an Int.

To me I would use a sword/sheild and put all int............but I'll let the others speak

I'm new and I thought versatility would be best, hence the 2 weapon trees. what is the max level you can get your mastery skills at..if I may ask a noob question.

Also, is it that you think 2 weapon trees is a waste? What is the advantage of 1 weapon? :?

Also, what's the best nuker for pvp AND pvm? sword and shield?

300 overall. 2 weapon trees is a waste, because it takes up a lot of gold, and takes up masteries you could use for Fire/Light/Cold or whatever.

Yea, I just realized that it would just waste time to bring up 2 trees at once and prevent you character in advancing elsewhere. I've decided to try to go pure spear. Should I go a 1:2(str:int) hybrid or go pure int. Also which skills/buffs should I go for. I'm planning on doing fire mastery but I am still new to this so suggestions are welcome :P

Go Pure Int until level 50, then add Str until your Magical Balance is at 90%. Then, just keep adding Str and Int as long as the Magical Balance stays at 90%.

And as for skills? I should go fire force as my main, max all those. I am new to "buffs" though. So what buffs would I be using with this build and how many pts should I assign to them :?

I'm really tired since its pretty late at night, but since I'm a nice guy, I'll answer your questions.

You need both Fire and Lightning, your imbue should be Fire Force. You need the Fire Protection buff, from the Fire tree, from Lightning you need Grasswalk, and Piercing Force, Concentration is optional.

Yes, you are a nice guy

Another question though, armor or protector :P

Garment until level 60, then switch to armor.

Thanks a bunch, you've been a big help :)

Edit: Why garment

Move Speed, MP reduct. I got this advice from Sinneh, who is a lvl 70 nuker on Troy, Pure Int. You'll have more hp than him, and he could pull it off 'till Yetis so I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to.

Ok, since I know nothing, might as well follow it :P For buffs, should I get the hawk one from the Pacheon tree?

ShizKnight FTW!

and you're the only other person that understands my method of "hybriding"..

full int til 50, then add str.. its SO much faster. :P

So you go full int till 50, then str the rest of the time? And will the magic balance stay high enough like this?
