(i would post this in general discussion but the guys in there get upset if i post too many questions)... sory sroy i thought of another interesting topic..

i was just thinking out there in lvl 20+ land

just how tough is it to run a successful trade?

say 1 star trades

what percentageof the time do you actually survive the trade run with all your goods?

and what eprcentage of the time do you actually suffer damage from player thieves? (u always take damage from npcs i guesss)

when I was lvl 29, 6 runs, only 2 failed, did I hit lvl 2

I haven't had a run theived in ages. When you have 3 65+ hunters watching you, theives tend to be less eager to fight you ;p

When I was in my 20s, I only got popped once, and then my guild got on that thieve's ass and killed him.

Just tonight I (level 20) ran a 1 star from donwhang to jangan.
I'm normally thief (lvl 2 thief) but I needed money so...i went trading.
Got over west ferry fine.
Cut under tiger mt to avoid east ferry poppers.
Took second to bottom bridge through yeohas and....
BAM! thief on indian camel comes along, spawns two lvl 45 ice spear and ice blader on me
Didn't have a chance, they did 1-1.5 k to me
Killed me and my camel, and he took the goods. Ign is AoS.
Ressed in Jangan, rode a horse bak, and AoS is dead. His transport is alive, and theres another thief there lvl 4x.
I try to kill AoS's transport, but noooo the other thief kills me.
I hightail from Jangan back to Yeoha's again on a horse.
Other player thief and AoS are both still there, AoS is still dead, and AoS's transport is still there. I get the transport down to half hp, and the other player thief kills me again. WTF!
Run back again. This time AoS is there in a hunter uniform.. and has killed the other player thief. He then proceeds to kill the other player thief's transport (guess the thief finally jacked AoS's goods).
The transport dies, dropping all of my one star goods.
I (still trader flag on) summon a camel, get all the goods, and run for my life to Jangan.
AoS doesn't chase me.
I make it to Jangan, get 21% trader, and get P!SSED to h3ll cus i got 21% trader which put my lvl 2 thieving BACK to level 1 90%.
rawr.
Well at least i made close to 60k not counting buying, the camels, the horses, pots, etc. Maybe i made around 25-30k net.
LESSON: Dont read my rants.
OTHER LESSON: Go back to the place you died, maybe something weird or noob thieves will do weird things.

Yes, I only traded once, lvl 20, and Yes, i got attacked by thieves, but No i still got ALL the goods through.

I can usually make it through 80 - 90% of the time.

The new large pet pills are awesome for fighting against 1 star poppers.

I can pot faster then the theives can do damage YAYY

Saved my ass several times recently.

I've done about 60 trades (all1*) and survived ~ 90% of them. Surprisingly, I think I died more often during trades when I was above lvl30 or so than in my 2x times. Even though I did most of my trade runs in the 2x's.

99% and i do 3* haha they find me no need o wase time popping hough mind you one idio did i ws like just attck me

100% so far.. But I've only done 3 trades so.. XD Not counting the "I have 1 piece of white silk omg pop me" trade I did yesterday, but that was supposed to get popped (and it was fun too!)

weird thing happened tonight...

im a level 33 blader

two traders were coming through the scorpians spawning place... both had 5 stars... i was just grinding when all of the sudden... 10 NPC thieves spawn and start attacking everyone... i was like OH SHIT.. but then i relized all of them were blue/white to me... lol scary ass site though

out of bordom... me and two other people pop on our thief uni.s and attack the two players (both were 24-27) killing them both pretty easily...

then five high level hunters come by and kill us all... then a group of high level theives come and war them... the high level thieves summoned a trans and took the shit and high-tailed it outta there... i get ressed and take of my suit... but it was a very entertaining break from the normal grind...

LESSON- dont try to do a five star at level 20 from don to hotan... cause its NOT gonna work...

still a funny site seeing 10 NPCs come at you...
