Cleric Question about status cures and Heavenly Rage

What ability will be able to cure the warlock's skull??? And other debuffs? I know both bard and cleric has status effect cure, but which is better?
Also, Should I bother lvling up Heavenly Rage? My only offensive cleric moves are abs dmg and Offering. Should I bother getting it?
