another blader question.

I got some questions. I got 2 options of making a blader.

90 bich/ 90 fire/ 90 light/ 30 ice
90 bich/ 90 fire/ 90 ice / 30 light

If I use first option I got a nice speed but with option 2 I got more defense and both options are equal at ATK DMG. So its better to take the 90 ice build right?

Please help me

id preffer 90light...why ice? for buffs or imbue? ppl use pills so u cant slow them at pvps and snow shield...lol dude ure pure str u have aloooot of HP u dont need ice u need light for speed and fire for dmg.

Lightning's more useful to a blader imo.

1. I think piercing force increases imbue dmg, which is always good
2. You'll get to monsters faster in pve, which helps to make up for the considerable time required to activate a chain. It's probably also useful for keeping up with trades after killing the npc thieves and falling behind if you're a hunter (it's helped me in the past)
3. Parry ratio is nice at lowering the max dmg an enemy will hit

thanks for the replys, but if I take lightning I got higher speed and attack, I can buy speed pots and if I take ice I got like 150 defence power increase so is that not better?

Imo it really depends on what you want from your character. If you're gonna self grind, it's gonna really hurt you in regards to time without lightning, or financially if you buy speed pots. Additionally, if you wear armour while grinding as pure str, you can fight physical monsters a few lvls lower and use no hp pots at all. This means you don't need the extra def cold gives.

However, if you're going for a pvp build and you're getting a friend to help you lvl, go cold if you want, cause this will make you all the more harder to kill, and will make up for a lot of the def lost in the transition from armour to garments.

necessary blader with bich and fire
ice at 68 for phys def and usefull amount of snow sheild
light at 52 for 2nd book of light so your not slow and some other useful stuff
this build is ment to tank and have decent speed (78%)

i always look at this build and you dont get much extra for ice and you dont get 2nd book of light
personally i think that having 1st book of light makes me look noob

think about cap 100 for a bit, ppl who doesn't have any light won't be able to touch bowers at cap 100 and I always prefer light > ice. Plus ice only help you with phys. dmg anyway, light have parry ratio which minimize the dmg of both phys. and mag. just pick which ever u like best.

bows wont be touched at all with infinite knockbacks even if you have 100% moving speed
you have to out range them
or time the teleport right and get a knockdown or stun
ice also gives snowsheild, freeze, phys def (and passive)
pretty usefull stuff if you ask me

u know even pills take a second to work or if they r low lvl pills it takes 3-4 of em to take out a higher lvl frostbite(yes some ppl r stupid enough to use them) and even that 1 second can spell death for a euro thats abt to kill u especially considering ur KD skill. This is especially true for warlocks and warriors(stuns,dull/kd,kb,stun,dull)

not to mention the parry frm light tree isnt so gr8 since good gear will give u that anyways but the phy def of snow shield and ice buffs
(lets face it most bladers wear garments)

im not saying light is useless im just saying that ice has its own uses and so does light
