I've made a full INT/ICE/LIGHTNING archer. People tell me Archers cannot be full INT because you dont have the HP boosts and larger weapon magic stats of spear users or the protection of a shield for swordsmen. I say archers can be full INT. My PvP technique is simple: slow the enemy down with ice imbued chain attacks, then nuke'em when the time is right. So far ive had little trouble defeating full STR bowmen my lvl and glaviers too and even though auto-pills may cure the oppenents frostbite, there is still enough time to get some good hits off. Im thinking about going on and maxing ice and lightning skills and maybe getting some fire.

I make up for the archer's short-commings by wearing protector/armor with +INT and STR, using +3 bows, and have lvl 10 heuksal with the 102 HP increase.

Do you guys think i should keep this character going or just start over because I will be stuck with a crappy high lvl character and have wasted my time?

I hate wasting time on chars my last one was a crappy lvl 45 hybrid. Plz give me some advice.

Yes, start over. =p Or switch to sword/shield/spear.
INT Archers get ownt in pvp at higher lvls.

its ok if you're a PvE based person.. and dont care bout pvp.

even if you make this build and wnat to pvp, use sword and shield
i know abunch of full int archers that use sword and shield for pvp, but when they grind they use bows.

thats not a bad idea for PvP!, but wont my blocking be terrible compared to real swordsmen?

being an INT archer does kick ass when it comes to grinding. i reach the mobs first and lvl up fast. On top of that i rarely get scratched.

no, most nukers dont ahve bicheon raised, they have spear. doesnt matter that much. get a 16+ br shield for pvp and you'll be fine.

i think its good for PvE... yea in grinding use bow, for pvp use sword n shield.. its good ^^
make your own char... u like it ? then go for it...

jk any way but int bow in pvp really need alot of thinking before fighting,do u plan to use ghost walk? This is very impt to bower as it the one way to run away asap if u meet a glavie user. When we are shotting never let ur ememy come close to u,quicky use ghost walk and make a distance and shot again ^^ but this tactic need to be fast and if u meet a full str it only become a pot war ^^

The real question is do you like the cahracter? If you do keep playing it, if not start over. Personal choice is so important.

Worst case is you get to level xx and don't like it. Do the curst hearts quest and become a nuker. As long as you haven't messed up you str/int you will be fine, although hybrids are really powerful too. One of they guy in my guild is a 58 hybrid and at the same level he takes me out.

at lvl 30-50 you'll prolly be 1 or 2 nuked or hitted (glavie) without having much bonus hp nor block, not much of a chance to survive in pvp unless you atk first

i am blade ill just use my two soul cut blade skills and you would be dead.
glavier donno about that but i think the soul spear is good too.
spear nukers? they have more hp than you, and they can range you also with nukers
sword nukers same thing but they have the shield..

i am lvl 41 full str/fire/ice/blader and i can kill a lvl 44 full int archer or more

If you thought hard about it you wouldn't have had to start over. I have my own build and I haven't looked at guides before I made my character. But after seeing the guides my build fits in perfectly. This game requires thoughtful ideas in order to succeed both in PVE and PVP.

imo one of the worst builds, get sword and shield focus on fire nukes and get knockdown when your 6x to pwn at PvP aswell.

Don't worry too much about it, and just continue with your character. You should do well in PvE, and if you want to go PvP just put on a sword and shield should you have trouble at higher levels. You shouldn't do any worse than most sword users, since few of them bother getting their sword skill up. I'm only lvl 39, but I've blasted my way through several higher level trader/hunter/thiefs (4-5 levels above me), and my sword/spear skill won't go beyond 20. The most important thing is that you enjoy playing your character.
