Hi im making new wizard and now im lvl 34 and i dont know what subclass to take cleric or bard...
Plz help thx

srsly there are many topics about what sub to take just use search -.-

cleric If you dont want to be useless.
Bard if you want to run fast and not be bothered by most mobs.

Cleric if you wanna have any chance in PvP

wizards aren´t characters for pvp..you have to stay in the background when 2 are fighting,and BAM! hit him,or with life turnover+invisible
you have chances to win pvp´s with a wizard,but it´s damn boring..

with recovery devision you just survive a few seconds more^^
but it´s sometime useful in pvp^^

but,another good reason to choose cleric is PvE,...with recovery division you haven´t your problem,that you die at every 50th monster ^.^

Sorry for misunderstanding me but i know very well that bards are extremely helpful in parties.
What I was referring to was solo play. and solo pvp.

yes they are helpful in partys,but when u want to(or have to) lvl on your own,cleric is very helpful too AND,clerics are also very welcomed in party´s too,so all in all cleric is just better i think (just my opinion)

if you JUST wanna hunt uniques,bard could be very helpful i think (with a 100% speedbuff )

DEFINETLY CLERIC! frig man bard is pretty bad for soloing u basically just...die good thing about wiard is that once its lvl 90... you can just pwlvl another char to lvl 40 in like 2 days or farm like 900k in 2 weeks

(look at my sig,all the lvl 20 chars where made within a few hours )

and clerics aren´t so bad in pvp,a lvl 90 cleric showed me how he owned everything at dw southgate

i´m also skilling the cleric attack skills now

and at 80 holy recovery devision is REALLY helpful
then you really can do plvling at 85-88 without dying


AND,with cleric you can wear light armor,it also helps you dying not so fast in pvp

Yep , i agree with those who say that cleric will be best.....
once i was fighting a Wiz and he activated his Bless spell (phys+mag increase, maybe i remember wrong name?) i couldnt deal any dmg to him, while just changed weapon again and knocked me down -.-'

Well, for a wizard, bard (noise and speed) is quite helpfull

Agreed bard is useful.

However how do you pvp with bard...sure noise and speed help for MONSTERS but not against players so in my mind cleric is better

Think of it this way BARD=ATTACK CLERIC=DEFENSE do wizards need more attack
