Just do the repeatable Curse Heart quest (Herb npc) to get skill edit potions.

IMO, when ultimate fighting championship started, every player broght his own specialty in the match. a stand up fighter's a stand up fighter, a grappler is a grappler. but now, being a stand up fighter won't do anyone any good as well as a pure grappler coz fighters are beginning to learn both stand up and grappling to surive a match.

this little scenario, a very real one, is the basis of me making my char a hybrid. in the hopes that it will shine in the end. so thank you kitary for your guide, that's all..

nice guide, I did by mistake at low lvl put stuff on str, my mag balance without anything on me is 90% but I have int adds that get my int up to 101% and strength to 64%

I nuke as good as any other nuker, also have knockdown and soulcut blade at lvl 30. Got my lightning atm at 55 so the soul cut blade does mroe dmg then lion shouts + im using a crit 13 sword.

It's easy to be a pure int nuker, as long as you got the luck/economy to get enough int adds.

I'd like to refer myself as a Pure Int Nuker with alot more hp then normal nukers..

updated the guide to max lvl 90 , and added a small bid on making fire or cold sword hybrids
and after playtesting , changed the skill lay out for lightning and bisheon a bid .. ( left out lion shout series in favor of blade force series )

Earth lion shout lvl 69
DMG: 409~760 (100%)

Devil cut blade lvl 68
DMG: 318-389 (95%)

True devil cut will attack twice (778 if both hits maxed) but remember max dmg is not constant. Also take into consideration you get aoe with the lion shout. Id stick with lion shout since fire nuke gives a good opening range attack, arguably even greater distance than devil cut.

i have so many aoe skills i wont miss the lil aoe damage of lion shout .
lion shouts performance was to low , blade force book 1 lvl 1 was doing almost 1,5x the damage as earth lion shout lvl 1 ( thats like book 2 lion shout series ) , after uppingl tblade force to book 2 l it simply did way more damage than the lion shout series provided me with , add the critt chance for a lil damage boost ontop and the choice was made

another thing that pulled me away was the fact that lion shout series dint do in pve wat it is good for.. making the killing hit ... it simply dint do enuf damage
being a hybrid means less mag damage output as a full int , with the poor performance of lion shout series it has become my opinion that lion shout series is best left to the full int's

ow and a side note here devil cut blade dus hit 2x , but not 2x the listed damage
the skill works like this : it devides the total damage rolled over 2 hits , 1st hit will be a big part of the damage ( im guessing around 70%) and the second hit will land with a small part of damage ( im guessing the left over 30%)

@ first......hi at all

i really like ur build and so i decided to switch to it....now the only problem is as follows:
char lvl 18
pure str till now :banghead:

which means 54 str instead of ur 30 str...more life but less magic dmg...more ph dmg and ph def...

balances are 103 ph and 47 magical
without equip 90//3x maybe

what will my balances be on 30 w/o equip if i go pure int now?
like 80 ph and 55 magical?

so should i restart or go pure int from now on?

hope some1 can helpme out

What's mag% and phys%, I have bumped only int and mine char are now 13lvl, so now I bump only str to lvl 24 and then keep putting int? :roll:

I have been adding 2int 1str at each level.. will it be the same as putting 3str till lv11 and 3int afterwards?

err i have some question here.. =)

when u stab a mob when it's KD, it gives extra % of damage. my question is, does the extra % concern only physical damage or together with your magical damage when imbune... ?

wel my very very very last post here ( like 4real)

1st i fixed the part of the guide that sad you could get 1005 resists , this ofcouse had to be 100% resists ,( Gawd that must heve been there for like forever :banghead:

and ill try and answer the last few questions here
Note tho , i havent played for months and have become a lil outa toutch with sro game mechanics

Weist :
you additional damage from the KD skills concern only physical damage
This small lil damage boost to phy damage is overlooked by many ,but actualy this is wat makes your phy damage viable and this is why KD will be more damage effective in pvp than chains are , alstho chains are still godly in pve

hokage4th:
as long as you end up with the 30 extra points in str at some point , the ideal lvl to get 30 points in str is the same lvl you can get book2 fire nuke

klrp:
ballance both mag and phy can be seen as your damage penalty modifier
a 80% magic ballance means that from all the magic damage that you do , only 80 out of a 100% will actualy get used , the left over 20% just kinda disapears into the ozone lair

hmm . hard one .. your actualy more of a spear hybrid with that much str
check out SuicideGrl guide on hybrids . you might wanna re-think about using a sword / shield

I chosed to follow your guide to lvl 20 and now i want to do it like this:
Ratio- 1 Str : 2 Int
158 Str/227 Int(LVL70)
Base 6195 Hp/8900 Mp
Base 67% Phys/73% Mag

i calculated it with the character builder and i can still do that build. But How do i put the statpoints as i lvl up? im no good at math :banghead:

from lvl 21 ill put 3INT till lvl 32 and from there 1:2 all the way up to lvl 80 then ill have a nice balance

hi, im new to the game and the forum, actually i really like ur guide. currently im lvl 16 and i've put all my stats into strength, and i dont want to start over again, if i follow ur guide from now on, am i gonna be a sucessful hybrid s/s player? thanks!

but i wanna ask about the best way i could make a farm with that build
if i chose the bow farm since lvl 16 how many sp i should collect in that lvl

hmm im not sure about the: till 11 pure str then all INT. because @ if you want to farm at stronghold wont your damage be low? and at 30 your nukes pathetic?

Hybrids PWN almost all builds...

I have a lvl 36 hybrid int s/s guy and I took out a lvl 35 pure str bow guy easy

And when I was lvl 34 a lvl 38 blader couldn't kill me....i couldn't kill ihm but still he's 4 lvlvs higher

Pure Str Glavies are a little bit harder unless you knock them down a bunch ^_^

With Pure int nukers i have a 50/50% chance of winning depends if i knock them down or if my shield blocks if i knock them down then i almost always win

So needless to say I like hybrid cause you get nukes and fun wepon skills = ] bad part is you hve to farm alot of sp = (

Note I have no SOS items the two best items i have are +3 shield and a 13 crit sword
