Nice. Any chance you could add skill damage/bonus values per level too? :D

I know it would be a hard job, unless the data's already out there somewhere. It kind of sucks that in-game you can't know what the increase will be to the next level until you fulfill all its pre-requisites (Mastery level and skillpoint availability).

By the way, you've mis-labelled the Flame Power series as protecting from status effects, it's actually the physical damage buff.

Thanks for the input as well as teh mis-labelled, I'll take that into consideration.

Im in the process of doing the 2nd phase of the project once i finish 0.5, next i need to printout and compare notes with the korean ones...things r done manually for me, so i have to be extra careful in translating and punching in these numbers.

the skill highlited in orange in excel

Post by icywolfy »

the skill highlighted in orange in my excel file

It means the minimum level requirement of the next higher book to be enabled. I havent really have time to complete it yet.

E.g.

Heuksal Skill #2

Bloody fan storm Book 1 <--u will see the first level of this skill highlighted. This means the 2nd Book requires at least Bloody fan storm level 1 and some level requirement to be enabled.

The first objective of my excel project is to help sp farming predict and plan their farming period e.g. lvl 8 farm till 5k then, excel to lvl 32...farm again...etc etc.

book1 to book2

Post by icywolfy »

ok that depends on which skill.

Most of them will need their predecessor book to be completed in order to goto the 2nd one. E.g. all first skills of all the weapon and force will require to finish book 1 to lvl 9 b4 proceeding.

However, they are some unique skills which requires only book1 first skill to enable the 2nd book... I called these Varient skills.

Mainly because, they behave differently from the book1 and some totally have different techniques

for example, the phantom walk which is the book2 of grass walk series...it doesn't continue / boost further the grass walk %...instead it is more like a teleport skills.

Another example, will be the so called uncommon skill of heuksal called Bloody storm yeah the spining ones...the 2nd varient / book actually is used to block physical atk instead of absorbing magic damages.

FYI : The sword/ blade has the most varient skill of all weapon followed by spear/glavie and bow.

Common FAQ
Q : If u finish book1 and started book 2 can u unlearned it?
A : No you cannot in most of the cases especially, those first skills. However, some skill u can unlearn partial of the book1, but why should you unlearn it in the first place.

Q : Ok i just finished book1 what shuld i do?
A : Replace the book1 in ur shortcut with book2. / If it's a varient skill u might wanna keep ur book1 around in other slot.

Q : Why hunting of quest item/ item drops is so slow if i whack the mobs with normal atk or normal imbue?
A : For some reason, this game computes drop rate better if u vary your techniques abit especially when, u keep hitting them hard enuf with 2-3 hits.

I was comparing my bow normal shooting with just imbue 4 hits kill with spear atks 2 hits kill...at first nothing different...but, when i start using hard hitting skill like soul depart and dragon spear...the drop rate was suprisingly fast and almost constant. I tested this is 2 servers alr...or it might be just a theory.

Anyway, my conclusion for this is...modify ur atks and skills to hit them at the hardest u can get...do it constantly instead, of just lazy normal atk.
